"I've said it before, this is the greatest place in the world to play football. I think it's the greatest place in the world to coach football. I'm extremely blessed to be here. My family loves it here, I love it here."

live action ucla is hosting katy faust tomorrow. sheâs known for opposing same-sex marriage and gay parenting, and the flyer pretty much speaks for itself.
bringing up same-sex parenting and then asking if âadult desiresâ should come before childrenâs rights⌠we can all see what youâre getting at. gay people wanting kids is not a selfish thing. and having a mom and dad does not automatically mean a kid is in a good home.
pretty gross to advertise this as âputting children first.â just wanted to share so people know whoâs being invited and what this event is about, since the event description makes it sound like just a discussion about parenting.

The one set up near the in n out. I donât believe in psychic readings, but I think it could be fun to go with my girlfriend and see what the psychic has to say about us. Whatâs the vibe?

I am a first year 18F and a month in and I still havenât even found like one person I can comfortably call my friend, or someone Iâve at least talked to more than once that werenât my roommates. I struggle a lot with crippling loneliness and have tried talking to classmates, but it never ends with the other interested in talking more and it always feels like Iâm trying to force the conversation to stay alive. I wouldnât say Iâm a conventionally ugly person, but I do dress more alternativelyâwhich probably scares all the white peopleâand Iâm also tan latina.
If anyone is in the same boat, PLEASE reach out, maybe we can like go out to a dining hall or chill at a study room.
I'm not a ucla student and I plan on meeting Dr. Tao in nyc in November at a book signing event. I was wondering: has anyone asked him for a selfie before? Would that be rude to ask?
Thank you!

I feel like the frat houses are made of manure. I got kicked out of pledging for bringing laxatives to a shitting contest during my freshman year.
When I moved into my studio after the dorms in sophmore year, I met my older neighbor who is an alum. And he told me he got a ticket for pissing in the freeway at night.
I wish I could ask him to go pee on the tables and chair in front of the frat hut where they check for IDs but I won't. Every time I see a member of that fraternity on campus on my way to or from classes, I call them shitters.
We once were invited to go visit member of another chapter. But before we could go, they sent someone with a large bus to pick us all up and we were greeted by this one guy in an empty bus parked in front of the frat house and he was mooning all of us. Everyone in the house started yelling at him, calling out slogans and cursing him out too!
And then when we got in the fucking bus, the whole interior was laced with liquid stink throughout the trip. It turned out that we weren't just going to meet other chapter brothers, but we were getting hazed by them. When we arrived on their campus, we ended up getting belted. All of us pledges were running around with our hands on our balls with the doors and windows blocked by guarding members. Every one of us came back with bruises on our legs.

Hi!
Has anyone taken PSYCH 151 (Research Methods in Health Psychology) with Patrick Alan-David Wilson?
Iâm thinking about taking it with him, but I literally canât find any reviews, Reddit posts, or a syllabus for his class đ If anyone has taken him, how was the class? Was it relatively easy/manageable? How was the workload, grading, exams/assignments, and attendance? Is it easier in comparison to Tomiyama, etc?
Iâd really appreciate any info, especially if youâve taken PSYCH 151 with him recently. Thank you!!

There is someone who has been extremely antisemitic to another person I know of for over a year. Nothing to do with Israel/Palestine, strictly attacking the guy because he is jewish using all the basic stereotypes, drawing a sw****ika in front of him, playing holocaust denying videos etc⌠the list continues.
Should I report them? The only option I see is to the dean. Will there be any consequences taken? I mostly want education.

When are the actual start dates for fall study abroad programs? On the website it only specifies early/late august but how do people with internships that end in august do these programs? is it possible to go to the study abroad program a week late?

Does anybody know whatâs going on??!!!!đđđ
Make it make sense:
Last year, Spring 2026, the office gave me a grant. The amount was around 700. Then, they sent me a message saying I have a hold on my account. They started charging me around 2000. I had an appointment and asked why. They said the system erroneously gave me the grant, and then they took it away. I had to pay the amount of the grant that was "given" to me + an overaward charge. This was last year.
Now, the UCLA financial aid office is charging me 1,387. I asked why. They said that in Summer 2025, I was eligible for a loan. I never took out a loan because I still had scholarship money when I transferred in and used it to pay off the class I took Summer 2025. RIGHT NOW, I am being charged for that loan that I apparently accepted back then. And apparently, the system they use, is applying this loan towards my Summer 2026. Which makes ABSOLUTELY no sense. I paid off my Summer 2026 with a separate loan and a separate scholarship I had saved. I had three meetings with the office and the final meeting told me that this charge, isn't for ANY SPECIFIC QUARTER, it is just a charge on my Bruin Bill because apparently they are asking for this Summer 2025 loan that I "TOOK OUT" back. ON TOP OF THAT, the school NEVER reimbursed me money for that loan, even though today in the meeting they told me that they did and they showed me the date when it was disbursed.
I cannot stress how badly this has taken a toll on my mental health. This whole year, I've been charged by the office for THEIR mistakes. I don't understand why or how this is happening but if anyone has experienced something similar please let me know. I cannot afford another mistake.
Help me Obi Wan Kenobi
