you guys know how on wednesdays they have that little farmers market by the library and silo? so last week I went there and there was this dude who had like a bake stand set up with cookies and brownies and stuff. I just had a midterm so I thought id get a cookie and whatever

so I go to pay with my card and he says he only does cash and cash apps. I dont carry cash or do apps so I was like oh sorry nvm I'll come back next week ans pay. he was so nice and was like dont worry about it, just pay me next week and gave me the cookie. super chill dude

What an ass move... I'm one of the only people here using a tricycle because I'm too unbalanced and impatient to learn how to ride a bike. my amazing glorious seat is gone. It was so big, so comfortable, like I was sitting on an actual chair. I hope the $20 you got from it was worth me being late to my classes for the forseeable future. As the light turned green and I started accelerating again, these two girls (freshmen I'm assuming) decided to RUN ACROSS THE FUCKING STREET TO THE OLD RITE AID AREA AND IN FRONT OF MY CAR. Thank GOD I stopped just in time otherwise I would have hit them, and BADLY. The worst part is when I honked at them, they didn't turn, didn't look, didn't give any hand signals or anything. Just like not even there at all or conscious of what was going on.

My friend in the passenger and I had to literally calm down after because of how shit scared we were. I'm assuming it was some kind of dare or something based on how immature the whole thing was.

This is the plan for my first two years the peer advisor set to fulfill my lower division requirements to switch majors from Human Bio to EENV. Is it bad? I’ve never taken a physics class in my life and only done up to precalculus in highschool. I’m thinking of taking MAT 21B at a cc but I’ve heard it may be difficult to transfer the units over unless I take the whole series at the cc, but that’d mean it’d take longer to fulfill my lower division courses.

has anyone done any type of statistics or has any knowledge of where the worst place to park your bike is? I know sketchy areas aren’t the best but im talking about main areas on campus.
I’ve heard that the bike racks by the silo terminal are not ideal, so are there any more?

Idk if this happens very often in other classes, but a lot of times (almost everyday) there's an issue with the projectors or mics in at least one of my classes and the professor struggles solving it. I know this is something that the TAs or people who work for general IT can solve, but dealing with this during class is a little bit frustrating and it is more time consuming than people could realize. It would be nice if professors had at least a basic training on how their tech materials work so these issues are less common but I think it is also fair to blame some of the mics that are being used since a lot of them are pretty worn and it's funny because my professor the other day was literally trying to make it work by putting a piece of tape on it

edit: I just researched and they do get training but it is optional 🫩 please make it mandatory

How do the pass times actually work? I understand it's based on the amount of units you have (+13 AP/IB units maximum), but my friend who has less units than me got an earlier pass time, and another friend of mine has her Pass 1 three days earlier than me (despite us having similar amount, if not the same, amount of units)

I was planning my schedule for the rest of my quarters but on my last quarter, I have .5 units left. Is there like a one unit classes I do to fill it up or I am forced to just do another class.
