Spambot that spams the exact same comment
https://old.reddit.com/u/Beardedplaytoy622
Just spams "Up"

r/ChatPalo - a lot of the same suspects are back again
https://www.reddit.com/r/ChatPalo/ - unsure if not moderated, barely moderated, or simply complicit with the bot spam
https://www.reddit.com/user/SignificantTiger99 - obvious AI bot, been banned at least twice before
https://www.reddit.com/user/PuzlingMJ - "MJ" bot that's been banned at least 4 times
https://www.reddit.com/user/Adorable_Active3122 - another AI "creator" that's been banned at least twice
https://www.reddit.com/user/pelrimah - "Stella" back again, too many bans to bother counting.
https://www.reddit.com/user/Hot_Rip1990 - generic "MILF" bot that's been banned at least twice.

15-day-old advertising spambot spotted in AskReddit.
first time making a post like this, hoping i haven't gotten it wrong and pointed out a human who's just really stupid/botlike.
account is here: https://www.reddit.com/user/Clean_Candidate_5496
evidence is as follows:
in thread "What's the oldest electronic entertainment device that you still have today, and what's the oldest one you've ever had at some point?" it commented "anything with a cartridge slot has a good chance of outliving everything made today tbh"
i have a habit (maybe it's bad, and i'll stop doing it) of replying to these bots in comment sections to point them out to other users in the vain hope that they'll see my comment and reconsider interacting with the account, so my reply was as follows:
"this is a spambot. specifically, an "advertise random online service" bot.
the comment is vaguely relevant but after further consideration is obvious nonsense (this thread is asking for an example of what the oldest thing you own is, not for a generic snarky comment about old vs new devices)
and the profile is as follows:
"Daniel | building Brandiseer
Clean_Candidate_5496
880
Karma
694 Post Karma
186 Comment Karma
Joined Oct 10, 2026
Ran brand and marketing for my family's bakery. Now building Brandiseer, which turns a brand kit into on-brand flyers and posts. brandiseer.com"
DNI, do not allow it to karmafarm."
other evidence are comments such as these:
"temporary chat for the throwaway stuff is a good shout. keeping memory for the things that matter and skipping it for dinner ideas makes sense." in r/ChatGPT
"the chilling bit is the part i'd have missed. margarine going soft and spreading thin is a real cost of the cheaper swap." in r/Baking
at the very least it seems to be partially a human account (with threads like this which reads as if the OP is genuinely looking for advice), then for whatever reason comments are automated?

Found a bot/scam account testing grounds. Very clearly a ton of manipulation, bots and scams being run through this sub /r/testingground4bots
Here is a link to the sub https://old.reddit.com/r/testingground4bots/
the whole thing speaks for itself. every account there is a bot, the mods are encouraging and helping people make scam bots, comment bots, upvote bots, anything related to scamming people.
Just look through the whole sub description it's literally just a sub to create bot spammers to spread ai pics, scams, vote manipulation and test and create more intrusive and spammy bots.
It's like finding a holy grail of bot hubs. All the comments, all the accounts, all the users on that sub that participate are bots. Every account needs to be wiped that uses the sub

r/testinggeound4bots is being overrun by... Bots...
https://reddit.com/r/testingground4bots/
Several familiar faces in the SFW OF spam groups. Lots of comments on these posts as well from likely bot commenters.
The "Hot" tab is almost nothing but known bots.
Edit: Somehow fat fingered a typo into the title, but the link is correct.

Another bot for the admins to do nothing about.

r/TopTrendingNewsUSA seems to be all automated crap leading to an AI generated news site
[r/TopTrendingNewsUSA](r/TopTrendingNewsUSA) is a sub where the moderators post AI-generated news articles from their website, www.BollywoodShaadis.com. The mods may be running bots but I’m not sure. It seems like it’s all run by AI. I say that because the posts seem to be automated and the mods do not moderate the comments at all.
I’m sorry if this is way off or I’m not explaining it well. I’m not super savvy, I just know it’s weird and potentially against Reddit’s ToS.

New karma farming account started
https://www.reddit.com/user/livilcont/ is a new account whose only activity was to post this: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whataburger/comments/1xb4e20/me_currently/ - 10/23 Update - post was removed by Reddit's filters, but account is still present.
which is a copy of this 9 year old post: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whataburger/comments/7tj6fq/me_currently/
Funny thing is a different repost bot also made a copy 10 months ago: https://www.reddit.com/r/Whataburger/comments/1pvnf5n/me_currently/
Adding to this post another repost bot I noticed in the same sub...
https://www.reddit.com/user/itocfu/ - This user ended up Banned by Reddit this Friday morning.

Promotional Activity Coordinated groups of accounts promoting racism, xenophobia and hate speech as a group on reddit.
There are a group of 5 accounts that are working in tandem, have gained millions of karma and deliberately post the same posts across various subreddits to promote hate towards Arabs, Migrants, Palestinians and Black people. I will give examples just from today, however you can view their entire post history to engage in your own research.
- https://www.reddit.com/user/Sometypeofway18/submitted/ Sometypeofway18
From today
- Tomlinsteelers https://www.reddit.com/user/TomlinSteelers/submitted/
- https://www.reddit.com/user/AgnosticScholar/ AgnosticScholar
These accounts are organized and deliberately posting the same content and posts across various subreddit in order to promote their hate and political agenda. If someone could inform the reddit admins of this somehow I would greatly appreciate it.

Account spamming animal abuse in the r/GuineaPig subreddit
For the last day, Un_Pollo_Hermano has been spamming the r/GuineaPig subreddit with pictures and videos of guinea pigs in unsafe situations, including:
https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x8zyc1/boys_outside_keep_breaking_out_any_advice_lol/ - habitats that are too small
https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x9o1hm/smores_being_silly/ - laying on their backs
https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x9pom1/sparkly_looking_confused/ - looking distressed
https://www.reddit.com/r/GuineaPig/comments/1x9oa85/nipples_after_bath_aftermath_she_loves_it/ - another guinea pig in distress after a bath, which is usually not recommended for them
I am not an expert on guinea pigs but it is really disturbing to see someone spamming content where these animals are unsafe. The account is posting these as if looking for advice or trying to share a cute picture, obviously just to farm karma

Sudden Influx of Many Bots posting "Golden hour street style ☀️" in random fashion-related subreddits
Some of them will vary it up by making the title "Golden hour street style — loving this casual weekend fit ☀️"
Searching for the title gives about 100+ posts within 24 hours from just these few accounts.
They seem to be targeting any subs with "fashion" or "model" in the description, which has led to them posting in random unrelated places, like "language models" (y'know, AI stuff) or DestinyFashion (a video game dressup community for digital avatars)

Here's a weird one. r/fireforce/ - bots spooling up in the past few days to spam that sub, and then move on.
https://www.reddit.com/user/Odd_Grapefruit4968 - Bot

https://www.reddit.com/user/Deep_Breath4022 - bot
https://www.reddit.com/user/Successful_Chef_7425 - bot
and I'm sure there's A LOT more.

r/DecideThisForMe is all bot spam
r/DecideThisForMe is basically all bots at this point. I checked and there is only one moderator. I saw a comment from someone saying the mod reported them for report abuse because they reported the bot posts. I wonder if the mod benefits in some way or if they simply don’t want to be bothered?
It was never a high quality sub but now it’s just a bunch of AI spam.

I hope someone is keeping track of prominent accounts not posting, and subs which have had a significant shift in tone since the Yandax data centre hacks. Go look at r/conservative. It's wall to wall criticism of his Russian oil deal. No bots to shape the narrative.
I hope someone is keeping track of prominent accounts not posting, and subs which have had a significant shift in tone since the Yandax data centre hacks.
Go look at r/conservative. It's wall to wall criticism of his Russian oil deal. Usually bot accounts get in early and upvote/downvote to shape the narrative and explain why his BS is actually a good thing.
Right now every thread is calling him a moron. The head has been cut off the snake. It would be a very good time to try and work out who is a genuine redditor, and who is a paid shill or bot.
edit: drones not hacks, sorry morning coffee hasn't kicked in yet
