Okay this is to the stoner gals, I have a theory and I wanna know what you think lmao

I’ve been thinking about whether smoking weed since I was 15 (26 now) has actually influenced the way I think about the world. I feel like it sometimes helps me make connections between things that I wouldn’t normally think about, but I also wonder if it’s affected my memory and my ability to actually recall and explain those connections to people.

Lately I’ve been smoking a bit less, and I feel like I’m finally putting things together that I didn’t even realise were connected before. Maybe it’s not that weed unlocked some secret level of consciousness in me, but that smoking less is helping me remember things, organise my thoughts and actually articulate what I’ve been noticing my whole life.

I’ve also noticed that a lot of the girls I talk to who think about feminism, society and questioning the way things are also smoke weed, and I’m curious if there’s any connection there. Maybe we’re just more likely to question certain social norms, or maybe we use weed as a way to sit with our thoughts and have conversations we wouldn’t normally have.

Obviously I’m not saying weed makes us more enlightened than people who don’t smoke btw but I’m genuinely curious whether it changes how we think, whether smoking less can help us think more clearly, and whether anyone else has noticed something similar in themselves.

I mean, it's not long after 04:20am... and the cat's happy and purring away as she sleeps with the spouse (and I retreat from the lavatory, through said bedroom, after said time).

All is well with many purrs and feline grooming maneuvers. But, even after the obligatory pore cleansing (aka "licking") on the forehead and similar "loving" maneuvers, said Tortoieshell "kitten" (just weeks older than 1 year) bites the bridge of my nose.

Love this movie

My mom grew up in El Cerrito and sometimes we flew out there for Christmas. It was so exciting when we’d go drive to see Mr. Shadi’s holiday display where he recreated Bethlehem, particularly lit up at night. It was such a magical experience.

You know you can take a picture of your teeth and upload to Ai if you’re concerned about your tooth health for any reason, and it will tell you what’s up with your teeth and whether you need to go to the dentist. l’m probably going to avoid the dermatologist too by uploading pics instead of going through all that rigamarole of seeing someone.

It’s the things you can’t take a picture of that you need appointments for.

Disclaimer: I understand that the “norm” around THC consumption and sleep is that it messes with REM, and therefore you tend to not experience dreaming. Personally, i smoke every day and I have very vivid, very realistic dreams that tend to reflect what’s going on in my every day life, past places and situations that shaped who I am as a person, and people from all parts of my life.

I've been estranged from my bio family (immediate and almost all of my extended) for well over 18 months. We all live all over the globe. The reason for the disconnect is complicated. But I emailed my mom on Friday and she responded this morning to let me know among other things that she has some form of blood cancer. According to her it's chronic and she gets blood work once a month and she takes a daily oral chemo pill. So naturally my brain has been all over the place and I've been smoking myself into Oblivion. I can explain more when my brain isn't currently playing Calliope music.

If I had a girlfriend I would call her ass THE FLESHMASS and ask to bio-integrate with it, while I tent my fingers and laugh manically.

ohhh yeah check out that all encompassing fleshmass I'd interface with that on a biological human level, and perhaps form a new religion where we worship it as a deity.
