Adding to my carry rotation

Just picked up a new kuna, what are the best mods to get an frt? Thinking optic, lower, suppressor, and frt. Any recommendations?

I wanted to share a detailed fitment issue and get input from other Springfield Kuna owners, particularly those with 2026 production models.

I recently purchased the A3 Industries HDA3 Hybrid Polymer Stock for my factory-standard Springfield Kuna (2026 production date). Unfortunately, the rear takedown pin cannot pass through the upper receiver when the A3 adapter is seated. The pin hits the wall of the upper receiver by roughly 1 mm, preventing assembly.

What I’ve verified so far:

• Disassembled the firearm and attempted to seat the A3 adapter directly onto the upper receiver alone — the ~1 mm downward pin hole offset persists.
• Compared the A3 interface with the factory stock: the pin hole on the A3 adapter is positioned slightly too low relative to the indexing surfaces.
• Measured critical dimensions using digital calipers:
  • Top internal recess to top of pin: 52.25 – 52.30 mm
  • Middle shelf to top of pin: 26.74 mm
  • Receiver bottom to pin hole bottom: 4.28 – 4.33 mm
  • Pin diameter: 5.65 mm

I contacted A3 support, provided photo evidence, caliper measurements, and serial number info. They tested 20 adapters on an initial US release Kuna and reported no issues. A3 provided a snippet of their CAD drawing (showing a 49.20 mm height from top shoulder to pin center), but the drawing omitted the lateral mating shelf dimensions where the adapter actually indexes.

A3’s official stance is that my rifle is the only report of this issue they have received, and they suspect either an EU-market variance or a tolerance shift by Springfield/HS Produkt in newer batches. Because they claim it's an isolated case and all current stock is machined to the same legacy drawing, they declined a replacement or CAD update.

Questions for the community:

1. Has anyone with a newer (2026) batch Kuna experienced similar binding or pin misalignment with A3 Industries or Haga Defense rear adapters?
2. Did Springfield/HS Produkt alter internal receiver tolerances/shelf heights after the initial US release?

Just wanted to post this as a heads-up for anyone buying newer Kuna batches, and to see if the community has noticed any receiver tolerance shifts on recent imports.

So I bought an auctioned hellcat pro and noticed the lugs for the optics have been all milled like there's none left. Now I have a Holosun 407K sitting around after selling my Glock 43x and am planning to put that on my hellcat pro but I think it will not hold the optics in the long run. So:

1) Should I get a DPP plate adapter for the hellcat pro when using the holosun? I feel like the contour of the plate + the foot print will give the holosun a better fit.

2) Should I just mount the hellcat pro without the DPP plate?

Sup folks! Wanted to share, since I asked about this set up before and didn’t get much traction (in case others are interested.)

My current favorite set up as a 5’7 275lb male is
a 4.0c with a tier1 axis elite holster (carrying appendix) with a leisure carry COB. I didn’t expect to love it so much but it truly is great and sturdy. The clip part does kinda dig into my stomach but I move it around and it does fine. Usually wear lululemon shorts and an oversized t shirt and the gun does not print at all. Only thing that does hurt after a bit is the end of the holster constantly sitting on my dick. That part does hurt after a while so if anyone has a rec for that, would appreciate it!

I’ll go and start off by saying that I know the frame and the light are not meant for the holster but when looking for options for a wml holster I did see examples of people that had the holster work with both.

I did order a Hellhound holster for my Springfield Echelon mischief machine frame with a Braun wml which is a clone of the TLR1.

The fit is so tight around the gun and loosening the retention screws only makes the screws fall put of the holster completely.

I don’t know if it’s worth heating up with a hairdryer because I don’t have a heat gun but any suggestions are greatly appreciated

Just got back from the range with my brand new hellcat micro and I couldn’t get any shots on the bulls eye, any advice? I would have too aim really high and even then sometimes that wouldnt even work, thanks in advance!

There’s been so many striker fire releases this year that have been so tempting. But.. there’s just something about the hellcat pro’s profile that I love and it’s an absolute workhorse. So I added a •Taran tactical trigger •Custom slide modifications/ raptor cuts + Cerakoat done by Chris at Fabricated arms, and a HCAT Pro red dot. Was going to add a threaded barrel to run an HArms comp and port it but after seeing the length difference I said 🙅‍♂️. Porting OEM barrel and putting a fork in this one.

I have a hellcat pro w/ viridian e series laser, 4.4 threaded barrel with compensator, and the viridian micro green dot sight. Im having issues finding a holster for this setup, any help would be appreciated!🙏

P.s. I have 3 holsters for the base hellcat pro that no longer fit my attachments😭☠️

Springfield Armory Saint Victor V2 B5 AR-15

Wife got herself a prodigy 3.5 for each and we were getting ready to clean it and she said she was warned not to lose the slide lock. I had watched several videos prior to her buying it but they were about the 4.5 or 5. I dug around and finally found one video breaking down the 3.5.

What was Springfield thinking? I can't find any other videos or instructions on what to use if you're in the field and have to break it down without your kit with you. Any suggestions?

Dave at DSC Gunworks did all the work.. EGW ignition kit, action Job, 2.5lb Red Dirt Trigger, 19lb Main Spring, v8 ported, MultiCam, fluted barrel, PVD copper coating on the small parts, and DSC slide cut windows. Can't wait to get a SRO and a light on this, and install a new Dawson Precision Magwell.

Could anyone please recommend any reputable manufacturers that offer a Level III duty holster compatible with a Springfield Hellcat Pro equipped with a Viridian RFX11 optic? I work in armed security and I just got the Hellcat; however, I am having a hard time finding a holster, so any recommendations? Thank you.

Who is concealing your Echelon 4.5 and what holsters are you using?

I don't particularly like the idea of an appendix holster with a gun that doesn't have a safety but give me your recs! Prease and thank you.

Does anyone know of any level 2 retention holsters for the hellcat with an optic & Streamlight TLR-7 installed?

Hi guys. Long time Springfield user. I carry a Springfield XDm elite 3.8. I have a holosun RDS and suppressor height sights.

I cannot find a OWB holster for this guy! I would love any recommendations! I rarely carry OWB, but sometimes its necessary and I would like that option.

Also im a lefty.
