Owner of Single Shot is going to jail. Can someone share a non-paywall link?

I made three trips there this month. Each time, the maples had a little more color, reds, oranges, and golds filling in around the ponds and paths. The old twisted maple I kept returning to still isn't at full color, but the garden around it is close.

A small group of us in Ballard/Fremont are doing the little we can to help get this fixed. That involves cleaning up trash from the walkways to make them safer to navigate, and asking SDOT to keep working towards any solution that will make walking/biking across the bridge less actively dangerous.

At Myrtle Edward’s Park today there were dozens of crows playing in the wind. It was quite a surreal and a magically fun experience to have so many swooping overhead. Such a perfect fall day. 🍁🍂✨💕
