Yep. They'll willingly offer up marginalized groups as a bartering chip for a group of voters that won't swap anyway, then they expect the very people they're fucking over and those sympathetic to them to vote for them anyway. When they lose they'll place the blame on those same groups.

It's always really distasteful when people defend illegal immigration by bemoaning about who will do undesirable jobs.
We shouldn't have a class of residents that we citizens can exploit to do our shit work for cheap only because of their undocumented and precarious status that leaves them living in a state of constant uncertainty and fear.

It's wild how much propaganda like that has been a dead ringer for Nazi/Fascist party propaganda pre-WW2 and the right has just eaten it up without so much as a moment of reflection.
Reminds me of a lot of the post-9/11 British posters that could've come straight out of the movie Brazil.
