Opinion Other than the Bears which could be 50/50 and the 49ers, the rest of this season is very winnable, and the Seattle Seahawks could go on a run

Trivia We now have 3 first round picks on our OL
One of which will be in the HoF soon.
Remember when our OL sucked and was totally starved of decent draft investment? What an amazing turnaround by JS.

Analysis Mid-Season Trades -- John Schneider's Sweet Spot
The results really speak for themselves: 8/8 and all A+ acquisitions.
Now, I think a burning question in most Hawks fans' minds is, will JS make any more deals in the coming days? If so, what positions or players would you like to see targeted? Edge? Tight End? Fullback? Wide Receiver?

Image Quenton’s brother was wearing a Seahawks jersey back in March
Only question is, was it a RW3 jersey or a Emmanwori jersey? Lol
Bet this dude’s gonna love it here.

Opinion This Quentin Nelson trade is a huge, positive data point regarding our new ownership. They’re letting JS cook.
Title.

JSN has a heart of gold and we’re so lucky that he’s a Seahawk.

Opinion Trading for Quenton Nelson makes me feel better about losing Steve Hutchinson
We kind of lost Hutch — an elite guard — at a similar junction in his career. Hopefully Quenton can make up for those years missed (Hutch or Unger)

Opinion John Schneider HOF resume.
Having an argument with a buddy. My position is John Schneider is a hall of fame executive. I started doing research and genuinely even I have underestimated him. Since 2010: 165-102-1 record 2 Super Bowl wins 3 Super Bowl appearances 6 NFCW titles 11 10 win seasons
Accolades include: 2025 PFWA Executive of the Year 2012 Sports Illustrated executive of the year
Misc/trades - Built the youngest superbowl winning roster ever (2013) Franchise record 17 wins (2025) Reached divisional round 8 of 16 seasons. Acquired Marshawn Lynch Traded Russell Wilson Acquired Leonard Williams Acquired Earnest Jones Acquired Quenton Nelson
Draft - Could list 100 players. Take your pick.
THAJNK YOU JOHN!!!!!

Analysis Reminder that if Seahawks new G Quenton Nelson walks in FA this offseason he's expected to be the top Guard on the market which would likely net the Seahawks a 3rd round comp pick back (if they don't sign another top FA)
Hoping he re-resigns with the Hawks and it all works out. As Gregg Rosenthal put it "An eventual Hall of Fame candidate, Nelson is coming off a strong season. He entered his 30s in March, but great guards often age well." Already seems like a great fit all around.

Analysis [Destin] Quenton Nelson trade underscores Seahawks’ confidence amid bumpy start to 2026
Just two days after the Seattle Seahawks dismantled the previously undefeated Kansas City Chiefs, Seattle’s general manager made a move that not only propped open the team’s championship window but also doubled down on his belief in this team’s ability to go back-to-back.
The Seahawks acquired left guard Quenton Nelson from the Indianapolis Colts in exchange for a 2027 third-round pick and a 2028 fifth-round pick Tuesday, pending a physical. It’s a clear win-now move for the Seahawks, who didn’t look the part of the reigning Super Bowl champions through much of their first six games of the regular season, yet certainly did Sunday against the Chiefs.
Some of the keys to Seattle’s latest victory — controlling time of possession, avoiding turnovers and establishing a consistent running game — will become much more repeatable with Nelson, who has earned eight consecutive Pro Bowl nods to start his career. He will immediately bolster an offensive line that has struggled since a breakthrough 2025 season, including allowing 10 sacks of quarterback Sam Darnold in the team’s two most recent losses.
