Skill issue. You just don't know when to engage. Tanks are only heroes that are useful in every part of the game . No matter it's early mid or late game. Unlike damage roamers who fall off.

If your team is throwing a won game when you're using a tank (I also do it sometimes) , it's YOUR fault that you engaged instead of pinging to take the lord. I know it's tempting to go for a 5 man set when you're behind , but if your teammates die for it , You can't blame them ..blame yourself for engaging when you know you can't kill em cuz you're behind

There is SO MANY THINGS you can do as a tank roamer that a Damage or support simply can't match.

And if you think you're losing because your team is feeding, well , if you're using damage roamers and your team is feeding, you're in the worse spot , since you don't have any CC or anything which can potentially lead to your team making a comeback. Once you're behind in farm , you're done for.

I don't see a single reason why you would play Kadita Novaria and Selena like heroes in Roam instead of mid. Won't you take long to get your items as a roamer than as a mid laner? Isn't that problematic for you since your entire job is dealing damage. If you are roaming you will be behind and will deal less damage. Mid lane is also a role which rotates across the map just like a roamer , so I don't see any reason why you would pick those heroes as a roamer

Same goes for helcurt . And other damage roamers

Even for Solo Carrying

Tanks > Damage > Support roamers

Although Carmilla is currently a popular meta pick, I rarely see her paired with Cecilion, even though they are arguably one of the strongest duos in the game, especially considering that many players don't know how to counter them.

Edit : I think people are missing the point of my post. I'm specifically talking about a coordinated duo, not solo queue. Just because the combination isn't practical with random teammates doesn't mean it's ineffective either.

I also think people are underselling Cecilion alot by solely focusing on his weak early game. Carmilla compensates for this with her CC and engage. With a good timing, her S2 can stun twice thanks to the cooldown reset when she's pulled back, providing around two seconds of stun every 40 seconds. Her ultimate can also add another second of immobilization, creating even more opportunities for Cecilion to follow up.

Despite their contrasting playstyles where Cecilion is forced to attack from far away and Carmilla is forced to attack near the opponent, their kits complement each other very well. Cecilion's S2 can pull enemies toward its center, setting them up for Carmilla, or that Carmilla can ultimate to link enemies together, allowing Cecilion to follow up with his own S2 and AoE damage. Either hero can initiate and set up the other.

Cecilion also has decent survivability for a mage because of his ultimate's movement speed and healing. Although he lacks a dash, these skills, combined with Carmilla's CC, help compensate for his vulnerability.

Once Cecilion scales, Carmilla's ultimate becomes even more threatening, creating opportunities for him to punish multiple linked enemies with his damage.

I've played 14 matches with this combination and currently have a 93% win rate. Obviously, that's a small sample size, but it makes me wonder why the duo is so rarely played.

I'm not claiming they're unbeatable, but are people overlooking their synergy solely because Cecilion is considered weak in the current meta, or what?

Floryn x Hyacine with Dew as Little Ica would be great, as they're both supports and are also healers. Whilst for Joy x Cipher, it's also pretty amazing because they're both speedy cars, as I said earlier it makes so much sense

Starlight shop will update next month and the returning starlight skins are now official. Though I have observed a pattern with the returning starlight skins this year. The returning starlight shop updates 4 times per year, the months are fixed, it’s in February, May, August and November. And as the pattern shows, the only starlight skins from last year(2025) that haven’t come back this year(2026) are the starlight skins that came out in these exact months(February, May, August & November). Irithel-February / Miya-May / Kadita-August / Bane-November. The next returning starlight update will be in February 2027 and I think they’ll resale Yve’s starlight skin (October 2025) and Fredrinn’s starlight skin(December 2025). But now my question is what they’re going to with the skins they skipped? I for one have been waiting for Kadita’s starlight skin for a while now and I really thought it would return this November. In my opinion they should have 3 skins from the previous year every returning starlight update so that this issue doesn’t happen.

​I'm posting an update on how this situation is evolving here in the Thailand server, and I'll try to keep track and report back with daily updates whenever I have time so everyone is aware.

​Right now, if this griefing trend spreads from Thailand to other global servers (like the US, China, or elsewhere), you all need to be prepared. Before it infects your matches completely, here is a quick survival guide and basic counter-strategy on how to deal with these trolls:

​Pick highly mobile or teleport heroes: Choose characters with high mobility, dashes, or teleport skills (like Alice or similar heroes) that can out-farm or out-rotate them.

​Out-rot and starve them: Play multi-lane flexible heroes. If you play with a friend and happen to have a troll locking Aldous, have your Roam player aggressively take farm away from them instead of letting them ruin everyone else's lanes.

​Camp and bully them relentlessly: If the enemy team has an Aldous doing this, coordinate with your Roam and team to relentlessly gank and shut him down over and over. Kill him early and often so he can never get his stacks, and ignore the rest of the map until he is completely useless.

​These are just some basic countermeasures for now to help you survive if the trend reaches your region. There might be better ways, but studying and using these tactics early will save your stars.
