I tried Opus 5.5 and liked how organized its work was, especially the document editing, comments, and Artifacts feature.

I’m considering switching to Gemini 4 Argon because it would cost me significantly less.

I found a recent independent research-writing comparison that raised questions about how accurately the models support claims with sources. However, it tested academic research which while relevant isn’t fully what my use case would be.

For anyone who has used both models, is Argon good enough for this kind of long-term project? How do they compare in Arabic writing, research quality, and maintaining consistency across multiple documents?

And if opus is superior, would switching hugely affect the quality of my work?

Having used and seen actual results, there is no place in earth that where Terra is Better than Argon.

Can't even say it is benchmaxxed since it's a new method. Perhaps it just became biased to save Open AI and Anthropic IPO while that AI bubble starts to burst in China, this can not be real.

Also, Kimi K3.1 Pro can't be that much behind.

I've read in countless posts that the limits for Gemini 4 Argon are extremely strict on the Pro plan. Can anyone tell me, first hand experience, how restrictive the limits feel on Google's Ultra plan compared to a ChatGPT PRO or equivalent Claude plan, specifically when it comes to compare usage quotas of GPT Astra or Claude Opus?

Je voulais partager une expérience assez frustrante avec Gemini (abonnement Pro).

J’étais à environ 20 % de ma limite de 5 heures. J’ai envoyé un seul prompt à Gemini 4 Argon, en mode normal : je lui ai demandé d’analyser une capture d’écran de la configuration de mon serveur (panel Pterodactyl) et de me lister les problèmes.

Résultat : ma limite est passée directement à 100 %. Un seul message a suffi à tout consommer, et je dois maintenant attendre la réinitialisation.

Par curiosité, j’ai fait le même test sur Mammouth AI, où j’ai un simple forfait Starter que je teste en ce moment. Même prompt, même image, même modèle. Résultat : à peine 4 % du quota utilisé.

Du coup, je vois deux possibilités :

soit Mammouth AI s’arrange quelque part (modèle différent en coulisses, réponses raccourcies, etc.),

soit les quotas de Gemini sont vraiment catastrophiques, même avec un abonnement payant.

Quelqu’un a déjà eu le même problème ? Est-ce que les images ou certains modèles consomment beaucoup plus de quota que les autres sur Gemini ?

So I paid for AI pro the subscription said that I would get access to Argon in the antigravity cli but now when I try to use it it says I can't. Google is running a straight up scam. So how do I get my money back? Or can i somehow make it work? Any help would be appreciated. Google is such a navigable eco-system, unbelievable.

I’ve been a vocal advocate for Gemini for a long time. When people around me were hyping up other tools, I told my team and my investors: "Gemini is the best, ChatGPT sucks. The massive context window, the ecosystem, big limits, media generation, presentations..."

Last week, right after the Argon rollout, I convinced my investor to drop money on a full annual Pro subscription so we could scale our work smoothly.

They bought it. They logged in, started a workflow, and within three messages, they hit the 5 hour hard limit wall.

I just stood there. I looked like a complete idiot.

How are we supposed to justify paying for a top-tier Pro plan when a basic prompt loop or a couple of lightweight Flash requests in Tasks/custom flows instantly incinerates 20% to 30% of your usage limit? I’m not even talking about heavy media generation just trying to do normal, daily developer and business work.

The absolute irony is that while competitors are figuring out how to give users stable access, Google’s current routing and aggressive rate limiting are actively punishing the people who actually paid for the service. You roll out new models, you preach about productivity, and then you choke your paying subscribers so hard that they can't even finish a basic task block.

I really don’t want to migrate my entire pipeline over to Claude or OpenAI. Rebuilding workflows takes days we don't have. But when the tool you vouch for turns into a lottery where a few standard queries burn your whole daily budget, you're leaving us no choice.

Fix your routing, fix your quota calculation, and stop treating Pro users like beta testers who should be grateful for an error message. What is going on over there?

Feels so slow it just keeps running commands and stuff and so long , I have a open ai subscription 20 dollar genuinely 3.8 at high is slower than sol 6.1 at medium or high , just a month back it was so fast

i had a gemini plus plan (as i am a student) that finished a couple of months ago. i just discovered argon this week and i apparently could use it but just a bit every couple of hours because of the computations limit.

i now remembered that i can reactivate the gemini plus plan and so i did, thinking that it would give me more computations and allowing me to use argon more, but apparently the moment i upgraded the plan i couldn't use argon anymore saying it's locked out.

what is happening? i can use argon with a free plan but not with a gemini plus account?

40 relatives, 3 generations, one surprise, and grandma had no idea.

i had 3 weeks and a big messy family. gemini did a lot of the boring work:

- turned my rambling notes into a timeline and a task list for 8 cousins

- drafted the group messages in english and in spanish for the older relatives

- planned a menu around 4 diffrent diets, including my uncle who "doesnt eat green"

- helped me write questions for a little interview with her old friends

the centerpiece was a 2 minute video. real interview clips, and photos from her wedding in 1956 that i animated on dreamina so they move a little. that's the part where she lost it.

I did some brainstorming last week with argon (set to high) and we went back and forth like 8-10 prompts

Today when I continued that chat, got the limit exceeding the quota in just 2 prompts

I changed that and logged in using my brother's account (same jio plan) who never even used gemini , started a fresh chat and quota got exhausted like in 4 prompts (argon medium not even high)
