Sigh.

So, before I get started — brush your teeth twice a day, floss at night, and use mouth wash, please. This shit cost me way too much money to even get done, but alas,

Earlier today the crown replacement on my back tooth became dislodged while eating, and after tasting what I thought was blood (twas just a bit of paranoia), I sprinted out, put the crown in a napkin, and went to check things.

“No problems, I’ll finish eating. I’ll put the crown back in after I brush my teeth.” I finished my food, relaxed for a bit, and now, about two hours later, I opened the napkin only to see I apparently threw out the wrong one earlier.

So here it is, midnight and some change, after checking everywhere twice, I found myself transferring each individual piece of trash from today to a separate bag (while being EXTREMELY thankful it was low enough to not warrant tossing tonight), until I finally found it sitting inside the napkin I thought I saved.

So I go back to the bathroom, I take a bit of dish soap to properly wash it off prior to giving it a brush, and suddenly it’s down the fucking drain. A big, soapy, blundering mess that transpired mere moments after saying my thanks for being able to find it in the first place.

Thankfully it was still at the bottom of the U pipe below the sink, sitting disgustingly amongst the brown sink water (that went directly into a small trash bin), but man was this an excursion.

It genuinely felt like that SpongeBob episode where the dime winked at him before jumping down the drain. I just stared in the mirror in sheer disbelief, like no way I just dug in the trash for ten minutes just to lose the damn thing while trying to clean it lmao.

Planned an event, a variety of the entertainment options offered are triggering to the guests (we decided on music, movies, etc beforehand). food options are nothing, since everyone is picky. this time doesnt work, that time doesnt work, i need this, well i need that. everyone has opposing needs and I end up feeling like I am watching a psych ward of toddlers. i say this as someone with a lot of problems too, both mentally and physically. event has been a disaster and i regret planning anything to begin with, i am exhausted. first and last thing i plan, because i cannot accommodate everyones individual needs without sending myself into my own crisis.

I have had numerous medical problems this year and have blown all my saved PTO plus everything accrued this year. I am trying my hardest to schedule Dr appointments around my work now. Thank god my employer has been understanding so far. So to the point, my back has been acting up since March, I haven’t had a chance to get it looked at yet, this week I went in for initial screening. They take an xray and sure enough, prior injury appears to have gotten worse between the L3 and L4. Doc wants an MRI, so today I set up the MRI. They ask, any foreign objects in your body, to which my dumb butt answers truthfully, yes I have a metal bullet fragment in my cheek.

I then tell them, I have had it since I was 10. I have had somewhere in the neighborhood of 50 MRI’s since then and it’s been fine. Between a bad back, bad knees, and trashed shoulder I am that guy who is getting his monies worth from insurance and running up everyone else’s premiums. The guy says well, that is only from the front and not the side. And because they will put me in head first they will need a side view as well. I tell the guy, look I was head first in an MRI a year ago getting a checkup on my shoulder, it will be fine. We go back and forth, I am now taking off unpaid leave to get X-rays that are, at least in my opinion, useless.

Needless to say I am not going to be answering truthfully anymore when they ask that question. Oh, and to the ahole politicians who decided those in chronic pain that will never go away. We should have to do years of PT even though the condition never improves. Need to see a Dr every month even though your injury was 31 years ago and never going to get better. And need to see specialist after specialist just to get your pain meds even though you will be on them for the rest of your life just to get out of bed. I hope the fleas from a thousand camels infest your growing for the rest of your lives.

It was 300-400 dollars last time I checked back in 2023-2024. I'm considering driving, but gas prices haven’t dropped much. So it sounds like I should sit tight and save up for now. Good Lord, never seen this high before

2 nights ago I lost a fight against the bathroom door that came outta nowhere. Last night my other foot lost a fight with the bedframe. Life is (extremely annoying but not life altering) pain. Here's to hoping it gets better by Saturday for trick or treating with the kids.

Needless to say, no deal was made.

So, i woke up at 7:40 am today morning and went to piss in the bathroom attached to my parents bedroom (there's only one normal bathroom in my house and it's that one, we're poor rn).

As I walk in, the bathroom smells intensely of cigarettes. My father always smokes in the bathroom while pooping. So I'm like, okay whatever, a bit annoying but sure and I go to the bathroom attached to my room( which is not maintained and looks like animal planet(plaster bagforms, mystery insects that blend into the floor and lizards, + has a broken down toilet with a flush that doesn't work), and i pee near the shower drain and wash it away well.

Later i make myself coffee and after drinking it, I feel the need to poop. So when I go to my parents bedroom, guess who I hear watching a youtube video loudly inside the bathroom? My father... So he went to shit again. Bruh. And even when he comes out, the room will be full of cigarette smell, because he can't supposedly poop without smoking ( my theory, idk if it's the truth). So i have to go to the animal planet bathroom instead because the poop is quite literally almost out of my body.

And how will I flush, may you ask? I will have to fill this one bucket with water and throw the water down the toilet. .. . Let's hope a mystery insects doesn't show up..

Pulled into Giant Supermarket to get groceries and as I parked car turned off and got stuck in park mode cuz of brake sensor and had an oil leak. Then I was over a hr away from home when it had to get towed. SMH only had it 2 days

Theres other food available, but why is this even put out? University of Minnesota TC, the meal plan is $6k per year and is required your first year. I’m out of state, in-state tuition is about 25k
