Never before has a company gone public with anywhere near this amount of cash.

Didn’t want to use GitHub when they first acquired. Somehow they won me over and I thought they were on a path of domination. Fast forward to today I uninstalled windows cause it’s unusable and dropped my entire position.
They’re basically just teams and azure at this point. Absolute shit company. Satya claim of 30% of code being generated by AI has backfired. Yes you can do it but your products are shit. Long term functional products > trying to wring every last drop of profitability out of your company

We're getting new and exciting ways to gamble!
The binary return options contracts are expected to begin trading within days. The lineup includes 12 underlying securities, including Apple (AAPL), opens new tab, Nvidia (NVDA), opens new tab, Tesla (TSLA), opens new tab and the SPDR S&P 500 ETF Trust , with additional securities to be added over time.
NYSE is also seeking approval for a second product tied to company earnings metrics, the latest push by exchanges to capitalize on booming demand for event-driven trading.

Intel just announced a definitive agreement to buy Classiq for $2.3 billion to expand their physical chip foundry business and hardware infrastructure stack.
Everyone seems exhausted by overvalued software companies burning billions on apps with zero actual profit. This massive cash drop proves that big money is starting to look past pure code and rotate straight back into physical semiconductor assets.
Intel reports earnings this Thursday night and they are going to have to lay out the commercial roadmap for this new hardware layout on the call. Are we finally seeing capital rotate permanently away from software and back into physical tech?

Between pages 170-171 and what you find in the notes they disclose around $855B already committed, if you add everything together. That's excluding some things that aren't fixed (like their AMD Helios spend, some additional TPU compute), otherwise that would reach above $1T.
And page 161:
Our increasing efforts to build out our compute and infrastructure require substantial capital expenditures and are changing the cash flow profile of our business. Whereas the compute purchased through our CSP arrangements is generally paid as the compute becomes available to us, we expect an increasing portion of our compute and infrastructure investment to take the form of capital expenditures and other commitments, including lease obligations, that require significant upfront payments well in advance of the related compute becoming operational. We expect our capital expenditures to increase significantly as we expand our build-out, and we expect these investments to result in significant net cash used in operating and investing activities for the foreseeable future. Our net cash used in these activities may increase regardless of whether our financial performance improves.
So they expect to increase their capex massively in the near future, in addition to their existing commitments (and they say they will keep signing new deals).
Their 2025-2026 financial statements aren't too meaningful given they plan to shift to high capex spending (also, their Q3 is a significant revenue slow down)

I open up the S-1 and lo and behold, what do I see? For the first six months of 2026, Anthropic had a modest operating loss of $693 million paired with an absolutely massive book loss of more than $72 billion.
So I ask myself, how can this be?
Why, as always, the simplest explanation is the best. They're one of us. I mean, how the hell do you lose $72b like this in 6 months if you're not on WSB. They probably shorted oil or loaded up on gourd futures, or some stupid shit like that. And you know where they got the idea to do it.
Mods, if you're seeing this, I have a plan to make Anthropic investable. We just need to find their wsb account and ban it.

25M and currently unemployed. My entire portfolio is in a 2x leveraged ETF, so I’ve taken one hell of a beating over the past few days, as you can see in the screenshot.
The goal was to hit $200K, and I was ready to sell the moment I got there. But instead, here we are. 💀

I’d love to say it was 0dte that got me. Unfortunately it was a series of bad fuck ups. Buying high - selling low. Getting stopped out of options that didn’t expire for 6 months, all of which rebounded and went +50 to 150%. Yep just a bunch of dumb fuckery. From precious metals to flying cars and fake money, I traded it all. Pull the ripcord on me boys, I think I’m done.
