What is wrong with my potato?
Hello,
This year's harvest of yellow Agria potatoes has developed some small black spots that become visible after peeling. Each spot is hard and extends only a few millimeters into the flesh.
There are no significant visible problems on the outer skin. The inside of the potatoes is completely healthy, but the flesh just beneath the skin is covered with small dark spots.
What disease or condition could this be, and what causes it?

Where do I find a massive amount of regular purple potatoes online?
I want an obscene amount of purple potatoes for eating and planting, but I am having a very difficult time finding them. Does anyone know where to look?

Canned White Potatoes are my guilty pleasure.
Fried in a bit of canola oil, garlic and pepper.

Curing sweet potatoes
Hi all, today I harvested sweet potatoes I planted in a grow bag back in June. I got like 4 regular-size potatoes, and I'm very, very excited. So now I need to cure them. It's 75 degrees with 60% humidity just beautiful weather, but not hot or humid enough to cure them in the garage in a wire basket as I planned, so now I don't know what to do. Thanks in advance for your advice. 💕
Why do people not eat these more ?
Divinity
Edit: hunanity should eat more potatoes and farm more

Unpopular opinion: mashed potatoes absolutely suck any other type of potatoe is great 👍
It isnt a flavor problem though, Its texture feels like someone has already chewed up a baked potato and im being fed like a baby bird

Do you love it?
✨️Does anyone else love potatoes as much as I do. I love them in any form especially baked. If you love potatoes comment load and proud, tell me what toppings you use or what way is best to cook them. If you hate them, comment why. All opinions are welcome!!🥔

help I have too many potatoes
I work at a cafe whose business model is literally just to sell baked potatoes, so I already eat at least five a week. great cafe by the way.
my absolutely lovely darling little old lady boss knows life is expensive and so sends me home with the unusable potatoes (usually the too small ones) so now I have even more opportunities to eat potato.
despite the aforementioned sweet old lady already paying me more than she should be able to afford, I need these potatoes to stretch my grocery budget, or really, just be my grocery budget. I briefly considered finding a food bank for my extra potatoes but I can’t afford not to eat them.
its potato all the time. I breathe potato. I dream potato. I bleed potato. I am slowly metamorphosing into an Irishman before the famine. when I inevitably break down sobbing before the sheer infinity of potato before me, my tears will taste like salted potato.
I need more ways to eat potatoes. I mash them. I bake them. I fry them. I hashbrown them. I boil them in whatever cheap stock or broth I have, then puree them as a soup base. i make gnocchi. I add strange things to them, like greek yogurt for protein. I’m currently eating julienned potatoes fried with whipped eggs poured over them, which makes something like an omelette.
please send me your weirdest potato ideas. anything I haven’t done especially if it doesn’t taste like potato. I will stop at nothing so long as it is edible. thank you for your wisdom.
sincerely,
the human potato
