Four medium-sized hawks have been coming down since we left water out.
What kind are these, if anyone knows? They don't seem like the right size or colors for Red Tail Hawks. Also I didn't know hawks like being in groups, or at least be sociable for a while.

Okay, y’all helped me last week with the best Thai food suggestions around Phoenix and we tried 3 of the top suggested options and they were great.
Now we are looking for Vietnamese suggestions. Who’s the best and what would you order?
Thanks in advance 🙏🏽

Hi all! I (female) am looking for a stylist in the West Valley, AZ that can cut my thin hair into a shag or wolf cut. I’ve been driving to far east valley and everywhere in west valley I’ve tried so far never gets it even close to what I’m looking for. Preferably medium cost range. Thanks in advance!

Like the title says, was anyone at the bake and take today who got the banana bread that had a salted caramel glaze and miso with a cream cheese frosting? We’re loving the slice we got but can’t recall the bakery name!

Black, fast, about an inch long with gold dots on what I think was the thorax.

People always want to know “What’s the BEST _____” in Phoenix, but I wanna know the three star, 7/10 local joints that you probably wouldn’t take an out-of-state family or friend to but you find yourself eating at multiple times a year.
Shout out those unsung heroes of “it’s pretty good”!

Is it just me or is Cox getting worse? I lose service multiple times a month now that they switched to Spectrum. What are alternatives and has anyone been able to get money back from Cox from lack of service I am going on day 3 with no service and they have no fix date + their customer service just kicks me out saying no updates

I have an infestation of these in my backyard. They are very, very tiny (right now anyway). What are they? Do I need to call an exterminator or can I eliminate them myself?

Driving on the 60 south past gold canyon (near the ren fair area) we saw this in the sky. What is it? What is going on here?

Hi Phoenix! I'm looking for some good herping spots around the valley. I've been looking around for some good/ somewhat consistent spots for looking for different Arizona lizard species specifically, but with the rain lately, I'd love some good toad spots! I'm located in the central Phoenix area, but I don't mind a drive and campout situation.
I understand some herpers are pretty secretive about their spots getting too much traffic, and if that's the case, shoot me a DM and I won't put it in the thread! Thankss~

Hi all, I am looking for some nice 5-10 mile hikes for the upcoming fall/winter season! I really enjoyed the Thunderbird Conservation Trail and Piestewa peaks. Any other suggestions, Elevation OK, longer trails good too!

Wing Hing used to be on 75th Ave and Cactus, they had the absolute best Chinese food I've ever had, they did close about 10 years ago and I'm still searching for Chinese food that is just as good and just as fresh. It was a couple who owned and ran it by themselves so i think that's why they eventually closed, it became too much to do on their own. So just wondering if any of you ate there and if you have, do you know of any place that's comparable. Also the value there was crazy and some of the other places I've tried are crazy expensive and just not good.
Anyway thanks in advance.

This question hasn’t been asked for some years, but does anyone know any parks/fields in Central Phoenix/Midtown/Melrose District that have non-league soccer meetups (and their days & times)?
Please list FREE ones, none of those pay-to-play groups…

I’m going crazy trying to figure out what these little holes could be. No visible mounds so we don’t think it’s gophers. Any ideas?
I'm wondering if anyone else got a better picture of the clouds visible after sunset on Fri Oct 23 around 6:30 - 6:40pm. This was taken in south Chandler facing west. Sorry for the image quality.

We were hit with the baseball-size hail on Wednesday.
We didn’t lose any shingles but there are dents all over the roof, our AC, our siding took a hit, and we have a broken window.
We have been hit up by a million roofing companies trying to get our business. One claimed that they work with your insurance to get the most money for you.
I feel like everyone is just trying to scam us. So for anyone with experience filing a home insurance claim for something like this, what’s the best course of action? I’ve never gone through this before and I want to make sure we don’t get taken advantage of.
Thank you for any words of wisdom!

Does anyone know why I-10 is the most congested freeway in the valley? I notice it seems to have the worst traffic out of every other freeway in the city area. Is there a reason to this?
