Automotive world behind
Hello guys, I’ve been in automotive in one form or another since 2012. Most recently I was working at a Honda dealership on the east coast of the USA. I had been working on a small promotion within that dealership that never went through after upper management changed. A few months ago I finally became a certified parts counter person and when my plaque finally came in the best I got was “ here this came in for you”. I knew that it was definitely time to leave this dealership, I looked around at all the other local car dealerships and none of the parts departments were hiring. So I looked around elsewhere and I’m now doing parts in the world of construction equipment. So far I’ve been there two days and it’s a lot more chill, I honestly can’t wait for it to get a bit hectic to see what that’s like. Any one else made an industry switch and still do parts?
