Hey!
I'm working with the Readality team this semester as a marketing student to share what they've been building.
Readality brings digital comics and manga into VR, letting you physically hold 3D books, flip pages naturally by hand or controller, read in any position wherever you'd like, and even read together with friends.
Try it out for free now by downloading the Alpha:
Drop your thoughts, bug reports, or feature requests either here or on our Discord so we can build this with the community.

Today I am ready to start showing everyone something I have been working really hard on for the past 6 months. For the longest time there had only been a few titles you could play in a Yaw motion simulator with no PC required by using a Meta Quest VR headset, but sadly all but Epic Rollercoasters have dropped that support over the years.... Also, I don't think I've ever seen a standalone game move another simulator other than a Yaw, so I set out to change that!
🚀 What is Project VIM? Project VIM is designed to deliver motion telemetry and full simulator integration right from your standalone headset, making motion cockpits more accessible and easier to jump into than ever before.
I'm in the process of working out the licensing and final pricing details, but I should be launching this for direct-to-consumer sales soon on vrgamerdude.com and possibly other platforms. I'm also interested in talking to potential investment partners who are industry connected to see how far and wide we could take this into VR Arcades, LBEs, and other pop-up VR attraction spaces by helping vendors negate the high cost of a gaming PC to run some attractions.
👇 Drop a comment below: Are you running a motion rig like the Yaw VR or DOF Reality? Which games would you want to see supported first on standalone?

Hey, I’m one of the developers behind NEX, a video player for Quest. We’ve added Instant 3D to the built-in browser, so you can open a supported site and turn on 3D with a click. It runs directly on your Quest, with no PC or conversion beforehand.
Converting a movie can take hours, and I get why people don’t want to wait that long. That’s why I’m excited about real-time 3D. We’ve also improved Instant 3D performance since the earlier version, so if you tried it before and had frame drops, hopefully this update feels better.
I’ve been testing it mostly with music videos from a few singers I like, and I’ve been enjoying how they look. Some shots work better than others, so I wouldn’t call it perfect, but it's good to me enough as it's real-time 3D.
I’ve mostly been watching in the lake environment, where the screen’s light reflects on the water. You can use the browser in the other NEX environments too, and customize the playback controls to keep your usual settings handy.
As for which sites work: Netflix still doesn’t because of DRM. YouTube and most sites work, but compatibility varies.
Click here to try NEX for free. All features and environments are available with a daily playback limit, so you can check your usual sites before deciding whether to buy the whole version.
Hope you enjoy the update. If you have any feedback, I’d love to hear it.

I'll try to explain this as best I can
Games like
\-Geronimo
\-Pavlov
They both have a weird bug where I can play them no problem, but after my pc been put into sleep mode, or after a few days, the game starts up normally, but I only see black, even though I have a screen on my pc
I tried \[opening and closing SteamVR, forcing the game to open with OpenVR, going to developer mode to change displays or reset the headset, downloading SteamVR and the games again\]
None worked; however, if I fully restart my PC and then open the games, everything works well. I have noticed it's only with Unreal games

I mean like take the motherboard + battery of a Quest, it's cooling and cameras then fit them inside the shell then adapt the screens + IPD to the system ? I would really do it myself with a broken CV1 but i don't have the ressources to do it.
Edit 1 : Some people recommends me to buy a Quest 1 but the project would be more for fun than actual playing. Also what's the point of downvoting me for something random ?
