The Jets’ next QB could be playing on your TV this weekend!
Use this thread to break down this week’s college football games, track the QBs who could be on the Jets’ radar, and start figuring out who might be the best fit for Gang Green next season.
Who are you watching? Who’s rising? And who should the Jets stay away from?

I keep seeing posts week after week calling for AG to be fired, and it genuinely grinds my gears to an extent because I feel like people are ignoring how the Jets, and specifically, how Woody actually operates.
Woody has fired a head coach in season one time total across his tenure as owner. That was Saleh and I feel like people need the context on why that one was especially different:
Woody didn’t hire Saleh (Christopher Johnson did while Woody was serving as Ambassador to the UK)
Woody didn’t even like Saleh (wouldn’t say he HATED him but they definitely did not have a good relationship)
The 2023 team had far higher expectations than this team (this team has expectations, like a step in the right direction, but that one was genuine Super Bowl/playoff or bust)
I don’t think Woody is one to learn from his mistakes consistently, but I think the results of firing Saleh leading to 3 wins across the next 12 games was an embarrassment enough on his part that he’s probably never doing that again.
Woody has a good relationship with AG and respects him because he was a good PLAYER for the team in the past. (This has nothing to do with his coaching ability, it is simply that Woody and AG have a good relationship dating back over two decades and this would seemingly disgrace AG and Woody most likely doesn’t want to embarrass him)
So if you’re coming on here week after week asking when they’re firing AG, just letting you know you’re asking a redundant question because the answers is right in front of you. They’re most likely not. You can judge for yourself if that is the correct decision. I personally don’t really think it’s that deep, if anything it shouldn’t really matter imo.
But yeah, AG is cooked. I feel like the most “supportive” you can be as an AG truther atp is to be neutral and be like “ok whatever, he’s getting fired” or you can continually shit on him (I’m not stopping you lmao). Neither changes the fact that he’s getting fired at the end of the year, but please don’t rot the page with “oh they should fire him now” posts because it just shows you don’t know how the Jets function.

Being a New York Jet fan is like being in an abusive relationship. We love them and they keep saying we love you back and then we get beaten again. We keep coming back. Real abusive relationships are horrible. This is just a metaphor with truthfulness.

The only good thing that's happened recently with the Jets.

Just wanna make sure this is common knowledge.
Any good coach with half a brain would never work for a guy like Woody, so this factoid may be our only legit hope to escape the misery. After he fires Glenn, he will be replaced by someone else who sucks. Then he’ll can Mougey in 2 years, and the cycle continues.
Woody def gives billionaire nepo baby pedophile vibes. Just sayin.

Al Toon was the first in 1985.
I agree with most of the negativity. But I was skeptical of Cooper pick, but really impressive

In the 2027 draft the Jets have 3 first round picks: their own pick, the Colts’ pick, and the better pick of the Cowboys/Packers.
The Colts, Packers (and Jets) all lost. Unfortunately, the Cowboys pulled out the win last night.
So at the end of Week 7, the Jets currently have the following first round picks:
#7 Overall (Colts’ pick)
#10 Overall (Jets’ pick)
#12 Overall (Cowboys’ pick)

With how the season is going, it’d be nice to at least have GIFs enabled in the comments. Most other team subs seem to have this feature enabled, but for some reason ours doesn’t.
Any chance we can get this enabled?

At the end of the special, Linus laments another missed holiday, time wasted waiting for the mythical Great Pumpkin. Charlie Brown consoles him, telling Linus that he, too, has made stupid mistakes in his life. An enraged Linus argues that no, this wasn't stupid, and all the time wasted will be worth it next year, when the Great Pumpkin finally arrives. Linus takes solace in the fact that next time, he will be proven right. Everyone else will see that the hours spent out in the cold missing tricks or treats were not wasted moments, but time investments that will eventually pay dividends. It is at this moment that we realize Linus will never learn. He is damned to sit in that pumpkin patch forever, shackled by his stubbornness and pride, determined to be present for the arrival of a Great Pumpkin who will never come. Linus is a cartoon. It is impossible to know how a real life Linus would act outside of a Peanuts comic strip or holiday special, thrust into the real world, living in Modern America. But friends, I can tell you one thing conclusively.
Linus would fit right in as a fan of the New York fucking Jets.

We're wading into the same territory here. After yesterday, Glenn's gotta go. He can't be allowed to pick the next QB. I don't know who should make that choice but I know for sure that it's anyone other than Aaron Glenn
