The pic is a bit dark, but I'm wearing cotton black slacks and black Oxford shoes. My main concern is the pink + dark red combo. I think it looks nice, like a different variation of navy blue sweater and baby blue shirt, but maybe it looks a bit weird. What do you think?

I'm looking for a flannel lined field jacket or chore coat. When googling it this shows up on Amazon. I like the look and the details over the shoulders but am extremely skeptical of purchasing any clothing from Amazon. I've never heard of this Legendary Whitetails brand.
Can you recommend some brands or specific coats that are from a more reputable brand? Ideally between the $100-200 range. I'm in Canada if that makes a difference.

Attending a wedding, need some guidance on what colour tie to wear. Not allowed any green or red for context.
I tried navy blue and then got AI to try orange aswell. Either choose between those or suggest a new colour? Thanks
Ignore green cuffs, it’s a tester shirt to see what size I needed to get and they colour code the sleeves

Heading to Scotland for a week soon and was looking for recommendations for stores to visit. Would like to look at tweed suits (3 piece would be great) and formal overcoats.
I found Walker Slater, which seems like exactly what I’d like but prices are a bit above my budget. I’m also happy to just look at nice pieces without buying yet. Any recommendations? I’ll also spend 1 day in Glasgow

Honestly my opinion on cargo pants, I think their pretty ugly and it’s hard to put together in an outfit, having ugly Velcro or button pockets sticking out on the sides, just very ugly compared to regular blue or black jeans, that’s just my opinion.

Looking for advice and recommendations for trousers kind of like this picture. But also maybe not as loose for a more dressed up look. Are these just suit trousers dressed down? Having a hard time figure out what to look for.
Edit: forgot to mention without spending a ton, under 150 range preferably

hallo, made a searchable archive of some of the issues of FRUiTS magazine... hope this not count as self-promotion, just sharing as it can benefit some people in this community, particularly as a source of inspiration for fits
you can check out all the looks with a translated version shown below. you can also look up all the fits containing a specific brand or search across all available issues
open to feedback / suggestions.. I have quite a few ideas of what to add next. if you notice any translation error please lmk
outside of the fashion realm, this is weirdly interesting on a psychological level. it’s the digital equivalent of people-watching... except everyone’s from over 20 years ago
some of the brands which are included:

Looking for popular costume ideas for 2026 that I can throw together this week. Was gonna be ghost face with the mask from scary movie but I waited too long to order it. So yeah, need suggestions. I’m 6 foot, 180, would prefer to keep my shirt on, short brown hair so I can’t really do much in way of styling unless it’s spiking it up.

I have a state work conference in the pnw. Not great with terms but I'd call the dress code "semi formal professional. Some people in 2 piece suits, some in button ups and dark jeans etc.
I'm fassion plind but trying to expand my closet and therefore options.
What combo would you guys recommend? And if the pants are off the wall wrong too, I have a few other options too. (Charcoal windowpane, maroon windowpane, and grey windowpane, or dark jeans)
Not sure if the overhead light changed the color much, but the overcoat is charcoal/cream in daylight.
Thanks in advance!

Need some feedback on the fit of this suit. Anything I should have adjusted?
Please ignore the shirt, I'll be wearing more formal shirts with this suit.
Also, what type of shoes should I go with? If I clean up this pair a bit am I good, or should I find something else?

I wanted to pick up a pair of derby shoes, to give me something to wear besides sneakers and boots, but I'm struggling to find brands that both offer wide sizes and are not in the $300+ price range.

What do you think about fit of this suit?
r/malefashionadvice • u/Electrical_Manager12 • 7h ago
The main shirts I wear out is Carhartt and Uniqlo and that’s literally all I wear when I go to stores, hang out with friends or go to relatives house. If I’m trying to dress up a little more I wear polo with a nice jacket. I currently want to get a few more shirts to have a variety of them since I feel like Unqilo plain shirts are kind of boring and basic. I was thinking of some henleys maybe or maybe some shirts with little graphic on it or others that you can recommend for me please. Thank you

Hi all. Starting a new job in a couple of weeks as a Program Manager for an engineering and construction company that works primarily in telecommunications infrastructure.
I'm trying to get a sense of what an appropriate everyday wardrobe might look like. It's a management position, primarily office-based as far as I understand, although I expect there will be some interaction with field personnel and occasional site visits.
I already own several pairs of Kenneth Cole Reaction modern-fit dress trousers that fit me exceptionally well. They're traditional flat-front dress pants, not chinos, and I'd prefer to make use of what I already own rather than spend a few hundred dollars replacing everything.
My thinking was to pair the trousers with polos or casual button-down shirts, rather than traditional dress shirts and Oxfords. I'm coming from the banking world which is much more formal so I'm a little clueless in terms of shirts too
For those of you working in engineering, construction management, or similar environments, would this look out of place? Should I really be looking at chinos or five-pocket pants instead, or am I overthinking this?
Obviously I'll get a better sense of the dress code once I start, but I'd appreciate some perspectives before day one.
If it helps, these are the shoes I am kind of thinking of building my wardrobe around
