Discussion Submission Restrictions Removed
So when I took over this subreddit several years ago, it was basically a favor for someone who was deactivating their account and they were going to be making a new one to take it back over. Well, it's been... a long time and I don't think they are coming back. (Insert dad getting milk/cigs lame joke here...)
I'm not as active on reddit as I once was, so I didn't really dig into the issues revolving around why certain members couldn't post in the subreddit, but I think those issues have been resolved.
I didn't create this subreddit. I will still check in here and there, but it's mostly been an organic community untouched by myself. I'll continue to allow it to be organic. Vote the good stuff up. Vote the bad stuff down. Message me if there's an issue.
Any volunteers to moderate are welcome to message.

Discussion Before GTA 6 drops, let's settle our all-time Top 10 games. Here's mine and I challenge you to beat it.
GTA 6 is almost here, so I figured it's time to lock in our all-time Top 10s before it potentially changes everything.
But I don't just want to see your lists in the comments. I want to battle them.
⚔️ Challenge my Top 10 here:
Make your list, send me your reply link, and let's see whose gaming taste is more controversial.
I'll respond to as many as I can!

Discussion Looking for honest reviews/critiques on AI Race Tycoon (Free playable web demo on itch.io)
Hey everyone,
I'm a solo indie developer looking for raw, honest gameplay reviews and critiques on my browser-based management game: AI Race Tycoon.
🎮 Play directly in browser: https://timothystudios.itch.io/ai-race-tycoon
What the game is:
A cozy, satirical pixel-art tycoon where you build an AI startup starting from a dusty garage with a single GPU, scaling up into offices, data centers, and competing against tech monopolies.
Thanks in advance for any constructive criticism!

Article The Séance of Blake Manor PS5 Review – A Supernatural Detective Mystery
thegaminginferno.netThe Seance of Blake Manor is a game steeped in mystery, and the supernatural. It's roots are in Irish folklore, and surround the investigation of Declan Ward as he investigates the happenings of Blake Manor. Getting down to the bottom of things requires an attention to detail, a knack for puzzle solving, and the ability to adhere to a schedule of person to person investigation, lest you miss an opportunity at finding a crucial clue. The mystery itself is a missing persons case involving Evelyn Deane. Whether your quizzing the guests of the Manor or dealing in environmental exploration time ticks away with every action pressing you ever onward as you deal with both the natural and supernatural inhabitants of Blake Manor.
When it comes to presentation the art style is almost Mike Mignola inspired. It has a stylized comic book aesthetic with a rich color palette that pops onscreen. Characters come to vibrant life through this artistic depiction, and the world itself is shown in a similar fashion.
All in all it's an intriguing experience that is meant for puzzle solving enthusiasts who like a good mystery. It also fits the Halloween season, and is perfect for that Halloween playthrough!

My thoughts on 1000xResist Spoiler
lwgutz.substack.comThis is my little writing project of video game reviews, new articles each Tuesday. This week, I wanted to post my review of one of my all time favorite games, 1000xResist! The Substack is subscription based, but it's free with zero plans to monetize (I have like 15 subscribers and I know most of them personally, lol). No need to subscribe, but I'd love to hear other people's thoughts about this incredible game.

These Boots Were Made for Talking - Big Walk Review (9/10)
vgdb.coJust written a review for Big Walk, safe to say this goes down as my contender for Game of the Year - we hadn't seen our best friends in a in a while due to 'life', but this game brought us back together, we laughed, we cried (genuinely) and we're now looking for our next gaming fix:

Article Ayasa: Shadows of Silence PS5 Review – A Surreal Journey Through Darkness
As it's title suggests Ayasa: Shadows of Silence is a game that is more of a visual adventure than one with words or spoken voices. It is a silent puzzle platformer with stealth elements that features a surreal world cast under shadows with light illuminating key points of interest. As Ayasa you will navigate this apocalyptic wasteland unraveling it's mysteries across six lands themed after different aspects of humanity. It is a thought-provoking experience that gives you time enough to take in the world around you as you dodge it's looming threats, and progress forward. On launch it got a patch updating some issues. If you fancy something a little more artistic in presentation that doesn't hand-hold this might be something worth looking into.
