A lot of people I know IRL have been telling me to eat more recently, and idk what to do. I eat about 1200 calories a day and have lost about 30lbs over the last couple of months, currently being at a little under 160 lbs. My waist is about 33ins, and I personally hate how I look with it, but idk how to get it down, and I don't want everyone who cares about me to worry. Any advice?

Its getting chilly at night/morn. Not enough to turn on the heat though. Any of you used to tie a blanket around your waist like a skirt when it starts getting a bit chilly, rather then swap to long pants?

Just got an wool long skirt, its very warm. :3 Highly recommend.

Im questioning its been only a few months, but, its so many things to deal with...

I'm scared of sinning, regretting, being rejected...

I don't even know if im trans yet, im not trying to rush or anything, and im aearly suffering but i somehow kinda want to be trans, like, im scared of bein cis and be lying to myself and to you all, for some weird reason

If i was a cis woman it would be easier

I would not be sinning or risking my salvation, no one would deny im a woman bcuz of my genitals, no one in my entire family would be against my existence

Can i just please respawn as a girl? If I regret it after, fuck me! I'll just deal with it, i dont give a fuck

I think my egg may be cracking

I am so happy rn. Like genuinely my parents, even the one who doesnt really accept me being trans, brought me clothes shopping. I got sweaters and skirts and the euphoria has never been better. Things are looking hopeful guys ❤️ 🫶 I havent felt this good in months. Soon they'll let me buy nail polish and maybe, eventually, makeup. Skirts are a gateway drug yall

Ok so basically, I like my current name but I'm beginning to feel like it doesn't quite suit me and I'm just kind of trying to find something that might better, I'll be honest I'm just a bit confused right now. I don't see anything specifically wrong with my current name but I'm not quite certain it's what I want.

Current name: Tara would like something in a similar vein to this

Other names I considered:
Valerie
Vanessa
Emma

(Pls have it not start with A)

Thank you :3

Like, I've been into wlw my whole life, even my first wet dream was about lesbians >.>

Then again, I'd still like to be (seen as) a woman even outside of relationship stuff. So why does it still feel this way? This is all very confusing...

I‘m very excited, yet also very very very nervous.

It took me the entire year till May to build up enough courage to make a consultation appointment at my local queer center, which then happened in June.
I got advice, I got told what next steps I can & should take & I got the contact information of a few therapy places.
It then took me till August to rebuild up my courage to contact those places.
One declined me, 2 never answered…but the fourth got back to me.
And after some back and forth via email, it’s time.
Tomorrow morning I will have my first appointment.
The next big major step towards my transition and towards fixing myself.
I’m very nervous, but also happy 🥹

Just 10.5 hours left…

Sometimes I can't get to see a man in the mirror, and doubts are too loud...

But some other times I see him, and I know for sure who I am and what I want!

So that was interesting contrast

Hello, all you lovelies :3, I'm in a bit of a tough situation where I want to help, but I don't know what to do, so I consult your swarm intelligence.

I've made a new enby friend, let's call them Charlie. Charlie currently has an oestrogen-dominant body, and I think they want to change that, but I obviously won't ask for what exactly they want. I really like Charlie (they seem like a great person) and just need to help them be the person they are, but I kinda don't know what to do.

Charlie's worst issue seems to be their voice - they HATE their voice. They despise it, it makes them physically uncomfortable and so sad, just observing them contemplating it makes me sad. That is not just to them being trans, they also have ... trauma I cannot elaborate on. What I can say is that I felt and understood how and why their female-typical voice is such a dreadful thing to them.

So I have two major questions (and a little bonus, for fun):

  1. What kind of compliments or observations do you like to hear about your voice? They liked when I called them "handsome", but I don't think that adjective can be used for voices. I also cannot say their voice is "very deep and manly", because that would currently be a lie, and Charlie is far too smart to be lied to. So what can I say? What kind of descriptors make you feel more masculine-comfortable with your voice even when you know it's in female range. Is it "clear", "outspoken", "firm and charming" etc. I just have no idea at all. Please tell me, how can I make Charlie feel better about their voice (and give them the feeling that it isn't that feminine) without lying?*
  2. What are good (online)-resources on training for masculine voice? I am, as they are, well aware that testosterone will fix that to a large degree anyway. But again, I don't know what they want, and also getting there would take time. When affirming their current voice and making them feel less self-hatred over it is one side of the medal, helping them in shaping their voice the way the want is the other. How can they work on their voice being less of the (bad) voice they hear in themselves?
  3. What do you like to sing to feel good? Charlie likes music, and we had been vaguely talking about things like going to a Karaoke bar. They also mentioned that, when singing in school, they tried to sing Tenor and stuff. So, what kind of songs (irrespective of genre) do you like to sing along to, that make you feel good and masculine in your voice, but without them being too deep and technically infeasible for you. In other words, what songs do feel deeper and more masculine-resonanced than they actually are? How can I find music Charlie can enjoy singing along to, just let themselves be?

* And don't say "just tell them how you feel about their voice". I cannot - I very much like listening to Charlie's voice, but I find it to be pleasant, melodical and so full of liveliness. I'd tell them that their voice is beautiful, because that's how their voice seems to me. But how I feel about their voice is completely and utterly irrelevant, and giving them the impression that the kind of feminine voice they have (which reminds them of a certain other person's feminine voice) is the very last thing they'd want to hear, so the last thing I'd ever tell them.

Thank you in advance for all the help you can provide 💜 (also, I hope proper flair, since it's non-binary but masc-leaning and of course binary trans guys' advice is also wanted)

So, I first came out to my mom as a trans woman about a year ago, and again, because nothing in her behavior towards me changed, about a week later.
She seemed quite understanding and supportive, but over the last year she never seemed to even try to use my correct name and pronouns.
She constantly misgenders me when speaking with or about me.
Even in front of my friends who also know I'm trans(and are incredibly supportive luckily).
Even more frustrating is, that she brands herself as an ally and supports a very close friend of mine who is also trans and is capable of using his name and pronouns.
I just find it incredibly frustrating, especially since she is the person in my family that I'm the closest with.

Please tell me I'm not over reacting.
