Played a lottttt of Warcraft / Diablo (and Starcraft but not relevent to drops) over the years. Kinda cool to finally understand how drops are actualy rolled.

Might be a hot take but I miss the old tempering system.

Not the bricking or the limited rerolls those sucked. But the actual affixes.

Stuff like:

Increased Frost Nova size

Increased Blizzard size

Casted Hydras have +1–2 extra heads

Chance for Frozen Orb / Ice Shards / Frost Bolt projectiles to cast twice

Teleport Nova size

Incinerate / Meteor / Firewall size

Chance for a second Ice Blades or Lightning Spear

Bone Spirit explosion size

Bone Storm duration

Chance for Bone Spear / Bone Splinters to cast twice

Dust Devil size + chance to cast twice

Whirlwind / Double Swing size

Raven active size

Blood Surge Nova size

Those weren’t just another +% damage. They actually changed how the skill felt and looked. Your Frost Nova actually covered more ground. Your Hydras had more heads. Skills could get that satisfying screen-clearing size or extra projectiles.now most tempers feel like just another +damage or +resource stat.a lot less exciting. A lot of the personality got stripped out when they cleaned up the system.

I get why they changed it RNG was brutal and some of those size tempers were probably too strong, but I still miss the flavor. I miss trying to make a no meta builds around like Frost Nova to insta freeze the whole screen. Or when Barbnado was a thing.

Glad to see Halloween event is on! Was worried there wouldn't be one - which would be strange considering diablo games fit the Halloween aesthetic perfectly 🎃

They fucked up and mentioned in the PTR blog post that Season 16 will focus on the rework of Infernal Horde, Pit and Lair bosses activities. That part has been edited and no longer in the blog post.

Misleading like this feel so disappointing, I thought season 16 was kind of big but this definitely make me less tempting to play next season

Last time, goblin spawns didn't seem to be all that great. But now, goblins spawn a lot when using shrines (the shrines that trigger the timed challenge will spawn goblins throughout the timer) The goblin altar perk is spawning like crazy and helps towards the goblin rep.

With all these goblin spawns, now is the time to get the goblin realm perk. Also the shrines can spawn the butcher too!

Also don't forget that goblin chaos waves in IH count towards the event and give ludicrous goblin rep.

Side note: There can be a few seconds between using a shrine and the goblins spawning. So don't just use a shrine and run away instantly. Wait 5 secs to confirm.

I spent 3Bill+, 120 rolls, on trying to get the Crit Strike Dmg Multiplier on my mythic Homunculus. I’ve rolled Crit Strike Dmg Multiplier before on various other equipment but never saw it come up in the stupid amount of rolls I put in for. Is it just not available n the Mythic version?! Just frustrating to spend a solid 8 hours getting gold and rerolling to get no where…

Just got tempted back into playing again lol, and started a new toon. Is it Splinter of Destruction and Helltides that is the recipe for super-fast levelling above 250, or is it something different?

I am trying to get flawless horadric rubies in 4 slots (like so many other players) and I have 2. I play a lot, and I feel like having 2 is pretty good.

I saw that some people are trading gems and one player has 30 ! How??? Either I am doing something wrong or they are doing something very very right. RNG can’t explain such a huge grind, and I noticed that Seer’s reach is no longer dropping gems. What am I missing?

Nor should Necro’s items and aspects. Not to mention Barbarians can equip two more items (two more uniques or two more aspects) than Necromancers.

In the past there were hidden titles when you 100% completed the season journey, from what I understand this is no longer the case, or was it changed? Wondering if it makes sense trying to complete it.

I was blessed to get a quest to Echoing Hatred and we clearer it 100% and was good times. But now that entry point and map marker won't go away, are active and functional up to the point of interacting with the "start" object in the instance. Nothing happens. I've done the logout and back in, used other characters and when I am back on my main, it persists. It doesn't show in my quests, just the world and map.

Problem is so far any others that I have joined do the same thing, effectively locking me out of them. And spoiling any that I have tried to join that others initiated, but all have said that they just reset and it went for them as expected.

So... anyone else is boat with me?

I have Wirts Coins but I'm hesitant to use them since 1 bug has a firm grip on me.

I have come to notice that everytime my Prime Evil spawns when I am out and about in a helltide that upon checking my reputation it sits around 47k. It makes me wonder how many times ive blown past that in dungeons and lost out on chances of spawning a prime.

Personally I would like a way to pin my reputation to my screen near my Gold and Obols for when I dungeon crawl and need to figure out when I should pop out to a helltide.

I busted my ass gearing up and cleared PIT 150 in 5minutes30s, but I can't even get into the top 100.As far as I know, the Ancestor bug has been around for two seasons now, and Blizzard still hasn't fixed it.

Will Blizzard fix this in the next small update? I really hope we can get a clear answer from them. If it remains unfixed, I'm completely done with this season.

I seriously doubt the competence of Blizzard's current developers. Getting paid a salary and not being able to fix a single bug for a whole year? I remember last year aspects were disabled because of bugs, so why don't you guys just disable the Ancestor skill this season?
