I don't know but his parents were really harsh about it. Its okay if they are tired of him ruining his life and wanting to distance themselves from him but really kicking him out on the streets with nowhere to stay. Atleast they could have given him a rented apartment to stay in for a month until he finds something else.

I don't blame them for not planning on giving any money to jesse from selling the house because he'd smoke it all anyway and he did a lot of damage to the house like dissolving a body in the bathtub and cooking meth in the basement.

He was at Stage 3 if I remember. But no episode showed him struggling to wake up/cook/fight/make decisions. He seemed super normal, and planning plotting things, go around as usual.

I don't know I feel like that's a realistic tangent that Vince chose to ignore, and rather just use the cancer plot, as a justification for Walt's acts.

Ed drives up from New Mexico to New Hampshire every month to deliver stuff to Walt. That’s about 68 hours both ways, with no stops and no traffic. How can Ed close down his shop for about a week every month?

I have to say have say its kind of insane the tiny details you don't even catch the first time. For example:When Gus visits the nursing home, he often parks in nearly the same spot. Walter also almost everytime, adjusts his glasses after making an important decision. If you pay really close attention you notice The White family's house becomes darker over the seasons. It's not just the mood the lighting inside the home is intentionally less warm than it was in Season 1. Mike rarely sits with his back to a door. In restaurants, offices, and houses, he'll often choose the seat with the best view of the exits. Thats just the ones I could think of its genuinely insane the details you don't catch the first time. Whats your craziest details you caught?

In BB, Gus saves Walter’s life by stopping the Salamanca cousins, and later has a meeting with Hector and Bolsa, during which the latter explains the whole situation regarding Tuco and their desire for revenge. Gus replies, very calmly, that he has dealings with this producer—treating it as a routine, everyday matter. Isn’t it a bit strange that Gus would so casually admit to these dealings—which exist outside the cartel—given all the accusations Hector leveled against him in BCS?

(Note that I haven’t watched BB in a while so do correct me on some things)

From the moment I saw his gang something about them said to me that they were Iraq/Afghanistan vets.

On top of the way they act, the fact that they know how to acquire such amounts of body armor and illegal weaponry, how Jack talks more professionally when it comes to killing (I assume they’re sloppy when it comes to selling meth is since it’s what they’re less passionate about and they only see it only as a quick way to get money. They don’t need to make a boat load of money, just whatever they need at the moment). And one more thing I noticed is that one of Jack’s men has a top in DCU camouflage, an American camouflage pattern used during the GWOT. To be fair sure he could just be using surplus and the top isn’t even his but it’s something to consider.

And this is probably obvious, but there were neo-Nazis who ‘slipped through’ enlistment in the US military during the GWOT. I also think that Vince tried to make them look “tactical” when they pulled up to kill Hank, like they’re troops who know their doing and have done this before. While yes, Vince nor the show directly states it I just think thats what the subtext overall tells me. Anyway, just wanted to share my thoughts.

He was one of the most chill and honest guys I have seen in this web series. There's no doubt that he loved his family more than anything, and he loved Walt like a brother. His heart must have been broken even more than Skyler finding out Heisenberg's real identity.

Might be one of the funniest lines in the entire show. A perfect response to Skylar's snarky comment right before that - it kills me every time lol.

Wrapping up my 30th rewatch, god I love this series lol (it makes good background noise while working).

I think it’s episode 13 of season 3, right at the beginning. The flashback takes place when Skyler was just pregnant with Flynn.

Something that has puzzled me every time I rewatch the show comes up when Walt goes to Denny's for his 52nd birthday. After he arranges the bacon into numbers, the waitress pressures him into getting a free meal with his ID. We know he gives the Mr. Lambert license because she calls him that by name. So did his alter ego have the same bday as Walt? Was he celebrating on Lambert's bday instead of his own? Or did the waitress just not look at the date?

Based off how much I like them as a character and not how important they are to the story just who I like the most.

Just rewatched Breaking Bad and currently on my rewatch of Better Call Saul, and this question came to mind. I’m actually curious what the watching experience is like, since the BB cameo’s in BCS can also work the other way around I think? But maybe I’m missing some plot holes here, as I at the moment don’t fully recall the events in Better Call Saul late seasons.

Grandiose sense of self:

Walt believed he was intellectually superior to almost everyone around him. He couldn't tolerate being treated as ordinary.

Extreme need for recognition:

Making money wasn't enough. He needed people to know that he was Heisenberg, the brilliant mind behind everything.

Manipulation:

He repeatedly exploited Jesse's emotional vulnerabilities, using guilt, affection, and fear to maintain control.

Lack of empathy:

As the series progressed, he became increasingly willing to sacrifice other people's well-being to protect his interests.

Fragile ego:

Walt reacted intensely when his intelligence, authority, or accomplishments were questioned. His pride regularly overpowered his judgment.

Sense of entitlement:

He believed his suffering, sacrifices, and intelligence justified actions that would be unacceptable for anyone else.

And possibly the biggest giveaway:

"I did it for me. I liked it. I was good at it. And I was really... I was alive."

I mean definitely the makers didn't put everything around her in purple coincidentally. Also I'm a first time watcher just finished season 4. If Skylar was in Walt’s position, people would hate her even more, people love to glaze Walt and justify his actions, he’s a horrible husband and overall person, I didn’t like Skylar for the first 3 seasons because I felt bad for Walt with his cancer and I thought they should’ve gave him a break or understand where he was at mentally, but I understand her 100%, in season 5 when he’s kissing her shoulder in bed and she’s staring at the wall and not saying anything at all made me so uncomfortable idk why, or the scene where he tried raping her after his deal with tuco. If roles reversed and Skylar was Walt men would hate her and feel bad for Walt, he’s evil, he could’ve stopped after his first couple million, but he’s careless with his money and life and does it for the thrill, not to mention the ego on this man?? His son tried making him and site for donations and when the money started coming in from “people” he couldn’t even put on a poker face and thank his son for looking out for him and his family, or when he told Hank that gale couldn’t be Heisenberg and seems like he was copying notes from someone else because he couldn’t allow someone else to get credit for his work? He put himself at jeopardy because of his own ego, he might be smart when it comes to chemistry and science but he has no street smarts or how to be safe… the man is evil in season 4 and 5, not to mention if he took the whole Gus thing with a different approach in the beginning I don’t think he would ever get caught, the man is such an egotistical manipulative bastard, his relationship with Skylar in season 5 genuinely made me so uncomfortable.

Frankly I'd say Jesse is mostly at fault because he was the one who decided to ignore Walter's order about a plastic container but also a little bit of Walter's because he didn't even tell him what the plastic container was for. Also Jesse probably doesn't remember literally everything he was taught

How did Walter put the ricin inside Lydia's Stevia?

Walter would've literally have needed to open the package to put the ricin on it. My thoughts are that he either somehow fabricated that very same Stevia package or maybe he DID open the Stevia package and somehow was able to close it back very perfectly
