I know that the person in the mirror is me. But some part of my brain keeps telling me that it cant be me, I don’t look like that even though I very well know I do. Sometimes the person in the mirror is so horrifically ugly I am scared to look at her, but other times she is so beautiful that I am shocked. But neither one is me.
Forgive me if the above paragraph is incomprehensible, I am a teenager and people often complain that the writing of teenagers is illegible

I was born in 1986 in the USA. Is this because of what I saw growing up?
I assume it's not common because then we'd see it a lot in reboots.

As the title says, would there be anything stopping me from doing so?

I have a completely random question.
6 or 8 or 10 months ago, the neighbor across the hall moved out. I learned she had skipped out on rent when her landlord came pounding on my door a few weeks later asking I knew where she was.
For the last 6 months or so, there has been a small package for her by our mailboxes (small building, 6 units, small area by the mailboxes. Two weeks ago, another package for her arrived. Saturday, two largeish packages arrived. They're all sitting in our small entry way, blocking access and giving delivery people the notion that they don't need to even think about delivering packages to the third floor (they often delivery to my front door).
As I indicated, her landlord has no idea where she is, so he won't have a forwarding address.
What are we supposed to do with the collection of boxes, whicc seems likely to grow??

Like I watch the show Hoarders before deep cleaning places, and it works. I’ve gained 30 pounds this year sadly since my best friend passed away, and I stopped smoking… what helps ya overcome the food noise naturally? I’ve been strict with food & fasting in the past, I know how to, just tryna find the “had enough, ready for a change” moment. Thanks!

I'm watching YouTube and this guy named the ice cream shop "Lady Luss" and I can't figure out if it's a reference or not. Is it some famous ice cream place? He's from Connecticut so is there some ice cream place there? It's driving me crazy lol 💜

So for context i post art on bluesky, cara and instagram and also post models on instagram and used to on twitter before deleting the app. Im doing this purely cause its good to have a social media presence for an artists portfolio
My question is, is it worth my while having twitter on top of what i already post to?
On one hand the more places i post to the more chances of something working out over time, but on the other hand, twitter specifically has the reputation of peoples art getting scraped and plenty of bad actors on there.
Im just looking for a second opinion on the pros and cons

Would people who are in tuned with their frequencies and inner energy be the ideal fighters? When learning martial arts a lot of it is mastering your inner “chi” and focusing the energy, now if we get people who are already coming in with a stronger connection to their “chi” would they have a better understanding of the fighting style?

Hi, I need some advice. I won't share too many details because I'm afraid he might come across this post. I'm 21F. Throughout my teenage years, I never had any stable, healthy friendships, and I don't know why. I come from a normal, loving family, I've always dressed fashionably, and I'm polite and open to talking whenever someone approaches me. Maybe I'm just not very attractive? Looks matter to people, even in friendships. I can't honestly judge my own appearance because I have very low self-esteem. The few people I had a decent time with moved to other cities for university, and we didn't stay in touch for very long. I just want someone to go on walks with, talk about all kinds of things, and buy gifts for. There's one person I used to hang out with briefly, but our friendship is currently on pause (at my initiative). He's pretty weird, our opinions differ on a lot of things, and some of his views on the world and other people are quite strange. They're not harmful or anything, just misguided when it comes to certain things and certain people. I suspect he spent way too much time on the internet, and some of those ideas have become deeply ingrained in his mind. He doesn't know how to interact with people his own age. We're the same age, but he thinks like a teenager. I also suspect he might have a sexual addiction?... Whenever we go for walks, a lot of people seem to notice us, and people often snicker at us. Yes, he looks a little unkempt. He wants to have an alternative style, but he doesn't take care of himself and chooses clothes that don't suit him because he has no sense of style. He doesn't even think brushing his teeth before leaving the house is important. However, that's not the biggest issue (we live in a small, c0nservat1ve town where standing out from the crowd can be dangerous, especially if you're a guy). I don't feel safe around him. I'm constantly worried that some bullies might approach us and start trouble. He doesn't seem to realize that his appearance attracts attention, and on top of that, he likes to draw attention to himself by being loud. He often loudly says inappropriate things in public that should be discussed in private, and he behaves obnoxiously loudly in stores. This kind of behavior is not what you'd expect from a 21-year-old man... (One time, some guys who were physically stronger than us actually approached us and started harassing us with questions because HE decided to randomly laugh loudly in their direction, as if he were making fun of them. I still don't understand why he did that.) He doesn't always ask me about myself or my interests, either. In a healthy relationship, you don't necessarily have to wait for someone to finish speaking before sharing something of your own. I genuinely enjoy listening to him and learning new things, but he never shows any interest in me. He only talks about himself. He's not a bad person. He's actually quite kind and harmless, and in some ways, very naive. I'm just afraid I won't make any friends anytime soon. At this point, it feels like I'll never make any at all, and I feel like I should hold on to whatever I have.
I'm genuinely so lonely.... Please give me some advice.
