☠️ UNKNOWN BONES/SKELETON ☠️ [WA USA] Whale (?) vertebrae, what species?

On the beach at the north jetty at Cape Disappointment, WA. The disc of the largest vertebra is like 6-8” diameter.

Largest end of a section of several vertebrae decreasing in size. Desiccated flesh still covers some of the bones.
Same section
Two other large vertebrae a few yards away

One of the locals says it's a bug but it sounds more like a frog to me? Any ideas? It sounds pretty distinct.

First off, sorry for the burry picture. Didn't want to spook the little guy.

Spot it on a night walk. It was around 30-40cm long?

Rotated on its own, and the tail seemed to wiggle like the end of a snake?

My current suspicions are either a Chinese Slug Snake or a type of caecilian?

thanks in advance!

They looked similar in size to a medium-sized dog's poo, but I know they're not from a dog.

🦁 🐯 🐻 MYSTERY CRITTER 🐻 🐯 🦁 Can anyone identify this animal? Coyote, fox, or something else? [Los Angeles, CA]

Any ideas what this animal might be? We have a lot of coyotes in the area, but I’m wondering if it could be a fox or something else. It moves pretty quickly in the footage, so it’s hard to get a good look. There weren’t any lights on, so the Nest camera was recording in infrared night vision, which makes it even harder to tell.

Ok, I know what it most likely is, but it’s a weird-ish angle, and my first thought wasn’t what it most likely is. Especially given the sightings we had somewhat recently in the Eugene area..

I spotted a fairly large animal flying in the moonlight on my way home. This time is 9:30pm. Unfortunately, my phone completely failed to capture it properly, so this blurry video is all I managed to get.

Could it have been a bat, a Black-crowned Night Heron or some kind of raptor (perhaps an owl)? Any thoughts?

We live really close to a river, there are snails in our yard but I’ve never seen tracks like these!! This is on the outside of a glass door. The tracks just end, no snails stuck on the glass!! Crazy! And they’re too high up for the kids to reach, so it’s not toy car tire marks πŸ˜…

I was sitting on a hill looking at the city when I heard it and it scared me a bit so I got up to leave and I decided to start looking for whatever it was but failed to get a visual on it. This was specifically on the Micheal D. Antonovich trail in San Dimas if that helps at all.

I live in Boulder, CO and just heard this outside my apartment. my first thought was a mountain lion but we honestly don’t get many here this close to people, although certainly not impossible. never seen (thank god) or heard one before and listened to some clips on Youtube but I’m still not feeling confident. let me know what you think!

I know that the bird is a Willet, but I'm not sure what it caught. It looks like some kind of sea creature to me but I'm not really sure what it could be. The bird was hunting along the shallow water that washes up onto the beach and sticking it's long beak into the sand.
