i’ve been told it’s a fox, or a coyote but it doesn’t really look like either to me. i’ve seen fox in our yard, and this animal isn’t similar. a stray cat had killed a mouse on our front steps and it came around sniffing a few hours later. hopefully the pictures are helpful, thanks!

They looked similar in size to a medium-sized dog's poo, but I know they're not from a dog.

I spotted a fairly large animal flying in the moonlight on my way home. This time is 9:30pm. Unfortunately, my phone completely failed to capture it properly, so this blurry video is all I managed to get.

Could it have been a bat, a Black-crowned Night Heron or some kind of raptor (perhaps an owl)? Any thoughts?

Found them on a dock by a lake

Ok, I know what it most likely is, but it’s a weird-ish angle, and my first thought wasn’t what it most likely is. Especially given the sightings we had somewhat recently in the Eugene area..

Any ideas what this animal might be? We have a lot of coyotes in the area, but I’m wondering if it could be a fox or something else. It moves pretty quickly in the footage, so it’s hard to get a good look. There weren’t any lights on, so the Nest camera was recording in infrared night vision, which makes it even harder to tell.

On the beach at the north jetty at Cape Disappointment, WA. The disc of the largest vertebra is like 6-8” diameter.

Sorry for the bad photo but any help in figuring out what species, had a black and white zebra style striped tail.

We live really close to a river, there are snails in our yard but I’ve never seen tracks like these!! This is on the outside of a glass door. The tracks just end, no snails stuck on the glass!! Crazy! And they’re too high up for the kids to reach, so it’s not toy car tire marks 😅

One of the locals says it's a bug but it sounds more like a frog to me? Any ideas? It sounds pretty distinct.

Rotated on its own, and the tail seemed to wiggle like the end of a snake?

My current suspicions are either a Chinese Slug Snake or a type of caecilian?
