Got around to having my old Romy PM63 and Hungarian AK-63F built. Also finally got the correct FSB and brake for the CUR-2 I've had for years.

Has anyone tried the 3 POS trigger from the trigger company, is it any good, should I buy one? I have a Yugo RPK kit build that I wish was a bit faster.

It's interesting... A big issue is that if you don't have a 3rd notch in your receiver, it will probably not be reliable. The safety has no self-retention in the FRT mode. The spot does seem generous for where the notch could be. The safety detent was also not making any contact with the receiver; a good bend with pliers resolved it. Manually cycling it in FRT has the Bolt hanging up a bit on the return; this may be where they see an improvement after wearing it in. It may not be an issue with live fire. The trigger shape is kinda crap and tight on my larger hands.

For a budget friendly option, what are your thoughts on purchasing a MAK90 and converting the furniture to standard? MAK90s seem to run a bit cheaper than most other milled AKs

I've got a Romanian SAR-1 (7.62x39) AKM with what I believe to be the original cleaning rod.

I have a few of the buttstock cleaning kits from Chinese SKS rifles. I tried to use the rod and kits together, but the threading is different.

My questions are;

Does anyone know what the threading is on the Romanian rods?

Is it the same threading as the other former Comblock countries?

Are Russian/Yugo/Serb/Polish/Bulgarian rods for AKM's all interchangeable (in fitting below the barrel and rotating in place) in regards to fitting an AKM and do they have the same threading?

Now that I can do what I want, what folding stocks would you guys recommend for a mini Draco? I was looking at the A3 triangle folder, the Deadfoot underfolder, or a CNC warrior stock (I really liked their brace)

Was also looking at a VZ58 stock but idk if that’ll attach to the 1913

Hello! I am new to the AK's i am planning to get a milled polish KBK AK kit but i am also interested in a 5.45 ak but i'm not sure if it's a good idea to get or should I get another milled AK underfolder or AKM build?
