Welcome Thread [Weekly Welcome Thread: Questions/Advice on Walking Away from the Left]

Thanks for being a part of r/WalkAway and swinging by this 'Weekly Welcome Thread'. r/WalkAway is THE premier subreddit for those who have had enough of the left's catastrophic policies and unhinged behavior. We're a supportive community which persuades people globally to walk away from the political left through first-hand testimonials. Whether you walked away, are trying to, or are a lifelong patriot, we can share news, memes, ideas, and resources with mutual respect.

A new 'Welcome Thread' posts every week on Sunday at 1:30pm ET to welcome new members, and to hear from anyone in the community with questions or advice about leaving the left. It's also a place to ask questions and get more information about the sub, its rules, and its resources.

You can always find the most current thread stickied to the top of the sub (if you don't see it, filter the posts by "Hot").

Purpose of this weekly thread:

  • For new community members to introduce themselves, learn what the sub is about, and find and get plugged into all the community has to offer
  • For new and existing community members to ask questions or give advice on the dynamics and challenges of walking away
  • For anyone to find the best information, resources, and tips on leaving the left and/or America's Democrat Party

Any questions and advice you have greatly benefits those who are new to the sub and who are looking for help and answers.

Some post content doesn't work well on our sub so avoid posting about being banned on Reddit, the LGBT+, minors, or anything racially-charged or violent. If you want your content checked and approved more quickly or have other concerns, then don't hesitate to message the mods. They'll be glad to look into any issue you have and help the best way they can. (About | Reddit Content Policy | Reddiquette | Rules)

#WalkAway Remember that time 4 years ago when Elon Musk bought a leftist echo chamber called Twitter and 6000 of it's employees (censors) tried to intimidate him so he just fired all of them, rebranded the whole company X and now we have the oasis of free speech that it is today? Thanks Elon!

Mental Gymnastics They are just saying it out loud now. Vote, vote, vote! Because they are coming to turn every state blue.

So they left Californistan to turn Texas blue. They actually say the words “helping Texas turn blue” after leaving a state they couldn’t afford to live in…you can’t make this up. I can’t get over them actually typing it out!

#WalkAway Watch as Dana Bash helps the Democrats by redirecting Joe Biden's Alzheimer's ridden wandering gaze to the person asking the questions. You don't hate the media enough!!!

#WalkAway This is the tragedy that the leftist media won't show you. Thousands of old Ukrainian men, dragged from their homes workshops and farms, given 3 days "training" then sent to die. While, Zelenskyy and his crime syndicate rake in billions of your tax dollars that Democrats gave him.

#WalkAway This is just before Elon Musk bought Twitter and fired these smug snotty entitled little censorship worms. Imagine what her life is like now, in her cramped cubicle reviewing code written by AI, and wondering if this is the day she gets laid off for the fifth time since leaving Twitter. JUSTICE!

#WalkAway Meet Jimmy Talarico's new buddy from his closing ad. Crystal Mason, who got a voting fraud conviction overturned because she "didn't know convicted felon's couldn't vote". Jimmy claims that Paxton went after her because racism and stuff. See below for why she's a convicted felon:

Her rap sheet: Arson in 1995. Forgery in 1998. Tampering with government records to defraud in 2011. Then 2012, conspiracy to defraud the US government. Filed fake tax returns for businesses that didn't exist. 4.2 million in restitution. But sure James, tell us more about how Ken Paxton "cracked down" on her. Except Paxton WASN’T even involved in her case. And she got convicted of illegal voting in 2018, way before anything Paxton did. This is who the Dems put in their closing ad. A serial fraudster. Desperate much, Jimmy?

#WalkAway While Jimmy Talarico wants to create an assembly line for subjecting young people to sex hormones and irreversible surgeries, Ken Paxton has announced the nation's first Detransition Clinic as part of his historic settlement with Texas Children's Hospital. Vote accordingly.

The Left Eats Its Own Loyal Progressive finds out the hard way: you think they will have you back if you do their dirty work for them. They do not. They will abandon you as soon as you are no longer useful.

#WalkAway DEMOCRAT NURSES are IGNORING PATIENTS who come into THE EMERGENCY ROOM with MAGA or other conservative messaging on their clothes. This needs to be prosecuted, not reported.

Why do these people think that a Republican voter in 2005 would (automatically) support Canada and NAFTA? The Kennedy center? Or would be against the POTUS being told to follow protocol by the Secret Service (which he has no ability to not do )? I'm sick of this smug crap. It's obnoxious. PS? Lake A

#WalkAway Ok, first off James Talarico wasn't teaching 10 years ago. But let's talk about that shirt. This woman is from Austin, where they arrest people for wearing MAGA hats at polling places. But Young Active Labor Leaders clothing is allowed?! I guess that's (D)ifferent.

#WalkAway GREASY GAVIN NEWSOM loves to play the moderate for the media, but when he thinks the cameras aren't rolling he tells a different story. He says the DSA IS "GOING TO BE DOMINANT" and "MAINSTREAM" IN THE DEMOCRAT PARTY!
