While cute, I don’t think this analogy actually holds up.

Starlink is actually useful and may be why Ukraine has fought as hard as they have. Taking it away* is way more critical than denying Claude.

In this analogy, Starlink is a weapon and Claude is something like clothes.

*worth noting that the satellite capability wasn’t even taken away. Starshield is still available. Musk just shut down the civilian version on the battlefield.

Also worth acknowledging that Starshield may have been throttled too, but those details are murkier.
