Hi all, I'm using Deco x50 since slighly over a year. Today morning I woke up to my network being completely down and when checked deco app everything is reset to factory settings: SSID and password, only main deco visible and configured in app. Any idea what could cause this?
EDIT: Whole setup includes 3x X50 with latest firmware.
At this moment "main" deco works and after few attempts I could set my SSID and password to previous one. Additional two won't pair in app even after being reset.

My WiFi has wireless channel 161 which can’t be changed but the extender does not connect to the WiFi, how do i enable the support for higher channels, please guide me. Device: AC1750 RE450 latest firmware.
I'm considering buying a TP-Link Roam 7 BE3600. I want to use it to transfer videos from my phone to a solid state drive, so I can delete from the phone.
The only use cases I see for NAS is to have an solid state drive with movies to transfer to a laptop to watch. I want to go the other way. Has anyone tried that?

I just purchased the Deco BE14000 and I’m in the initial process of setting up my router. During the setup process I can get through the part where it asks to setup your WiFi network. Right after that the status light goes red and I get the message shown in the screenshot.
I’ve rebooted the router multiple times. Reset it a number of times. I’ve went outside and restarted the fiber connection coming into my house.
There is an Ethernet cable that runs from the fiber line outside my house to a central panel inside. I can connect a laptop directly to the port in the central panel and I have internet access, so that doesn’t seem to be the problem.
I’ve tried multiple Ethernet cables between the panel and the router.
The app on my phone is the latest version.
Any idea on what to do? I’ve been stuck for 2 hours and my ISP’s service line won’t call me back.

I purchased a 2nd hand TP-Link deco mesh system. I set it up and everything is working fine. The only issue is when we are connected to it the life360 app intermittently pings our location back to the sellers house. How do I change the geolocation of my router to be at my house.
When you look at the travel history in the app is says we traveled there in a straight line. It does this 3 or 4 times over night.
Model: TP-Link Deco X68 AX3600 (X3) Mesh Router

I would like my Deco BE63, and all connected devices in the network, to use Quad9 for DNS queries. Which DNS Primary/Secondary setting do I need to change in the Deco app, the setting under Internet Connection -> IPV4 and 6, or the setting under Advanced -> DHCP? I’m confused on the difference between the two.

Hello, I recently bought a TL-MR150 4G LTE router. When I set it up for the first time and put a SIM card in it, even though the signal strength was at maximum I only got 0,25Mb/s. When I tried the same SIM card in my phone it got 30Mb/s in the exact same place, of course all at 4G only. Because of this I tried resetting the router using the button you have to push with a paperclip and then it got stuck and is now trying to turn on forever i.e. the power icon is stuck on flashing and nothing else happens. I tried unplugging it for longer periods of time and tried to reset it a couple more times without any effect. Is there any way to resolve this problem? Thank tou upfront.

We’re moving back to my hometown at the end of the year and renovating the house. Some walls are still open, so I’m trying to sort out the wiring before they get closed up.
I’m looking at TP-Link Omada ceiling APs and Reolink PoE cameras and a doorbell. Haven’t bought anything yet. I plan to run the cables to one central spot, with Ethernet for the APs and outdoor cameras, plus ports in the office and by the TV. We might put a Linkdaze family calendar in the kitchen, so Wi-Fi coverage there matters too.
We’re not planning anything fancy. Just want a reliable setup that’s easy to expand later.
For anyone who’s done wiring during a renovation, what do you wish you’d run before the walls were closed?
Is it worth adding extra Ethernet ports or conduit? Anything I should know about the wiring location or PoE switch?

Updated my RE550 (US V1.6) via the Tether app. Update succeeded but now it's completely unresponsive.
Bought from Amazon US.
Anyone managed to recover one via TFTP or bootloader? Any suggestions appreciated!

Hi, i recently replaced my asus routers with the Deco xe75 AXE5400 3 pack. when i set them up a month ago, all bands worked fine. the other day i noticed super slow speeds - turned out all my devices were either on the 2.4 or 6 GHz network. When i tried to force any device to 5ghz it would just refuse to connect. I have tried resetting the network / starting fresh and the problem still persists.
This occurs to EVERY device - devices i know support wifi 5 like 15 pro max or ps portal.
Even my pc refuses to use it and will use 6ghz instead. If i force it to 5 within the app, it refuses to connect at all.
It sucks because i am 8 days past the return window for amazon.
Any ideas on what could be occurring here? i really liked these devices over my asus network.
All of the xe75's are on 1.5.0 which to my knowledge is the newest firmware.

My dad bought me a new wifi dongle last week so I can use it for college in my pc. It was working very fine until it not working anymore now(this was when I make this post).
So I tried to figure out how to fix it. I did restarting my pc while it was plugged in, I tried unistalling and installing its driver and yet it didn't work. I tried to update the driver but it said its at the latest driver already.
I'm so confuse with tplink being so broken so much. I back then I bought a archer t2u plus and it was working so well until about like 6 month, it suddenly can't find any network. The only tplink product that are working very fine is my TL-WN823N. End of life product yet its working so well.
I need help if any of you guys have this kind of problem as I have and how did you all fix it so I can fix my TX1UI Nano too

UPDATE: I just did a factory reset on the router, and it now connects to my phone & shows in networks. I was able to go into the IP once I plugged in, although with the router up, the tether app recognized it and I could have gone in from there.
it asked me to create the password and do setup, which I did… decided to go with the MAC cloning option from the Fidium router (apparently where I am that’s required— or to call in to Fidium to give the new device MAC.)
In offline devices there was an iPhone listed from 160 days ago, and I wonder if after factory testing, they forgot to do a factory reset before shipping out, which didn’t give me a fresh setup.
Thank you for the assistance!!! Going for a walk to get the residual frustration energy out, lol.

Re: can’t get ArcherBE 3200 to show in networks, in tether app or access manually via tplinkwifi site or IP gateway. Spoke with support.
Posting in a few places trying to get this functional. Thank you for any assistance!

This model is so unstable. I even upgraded to the 1.3.7 Beta to see if it would fix and it didnt.
My ISP is 5GBps and I can read that thru Ethernet.
The Deco Speedtest sometimes shows 5gbps othertimes 1gbps.
It is not an issue with ISP. This has been happening since I upgraded my XE200 2 weeks ago.

Hey everyone!
I installed three TP-Link Deco X55 units in my new house a few months ago, but I’m experiencing random disconnections and inconsistent speeds.
My setup:
- All Deco units are connected directly to my ISP router via Ethernet.
- They’re roughly 10 meters apart, with multiple walls in between.
- Operating in Access Point mode (same issues in Router mode).
- Internet plan: 200 Mbps.
The issues:
- Deco units randomly turn red and lose connection, sometimes for a few seconds, sometimes for 5–10 minutes.
- They don’t all disconnect simultaneously.
- Inconsistent speeds occasionally cause buffering while streaming.
I’ve tested the Ethernet cables by connecting them directly to my computer, bypassing the Deco units, and they work without any issues.
I’ve also disabled Wi-Fi on my ISP router as I’ve read that it can interfere with the deco network.
At my previous address, I had 100 Mbps without any Deco units and never experienced these issues. I need a reliable connection for gaming and video calls, so this is getting frustrating.
I’m not very knowledgeable about networking, and ChatGPT hasn’t been much help so far 😅
Any ideas what could be causing this? Could it be the Deco units themselves or a configuration issue?
Thanks very much in advance!

I'm interested in getting the V2 version of the TP-Link SG3218XP-M2. I can see US sellers specifically offering the V2 version, but as far as I can tell from UK based sellers nobody is selling the V2 - just the V1?

Hi Everyone,
This is the first time doing something like this….but any help /suggestion is appreciated. Thanks for your time!
My house and my parent’s house are beside each other. I’m looking to connect both houses with the same internet. They only live there periodically like a few months in a year and uncertain what their plan will be in 1-2 years so paying for a separate internet with a 3-5 year contract is suboptimal. There’s a back alley between us so I can’t trench a cable. I was reading on Reddit and thought about this setup:
The house with the internet coming in is on the left with the modem in purple in the basement. Each room in the house has an internet port with cables coming into this basement room. The main Deco x50 (light blue) is connected to the modem. Deco 2 (teal) is directly connected to the main deco via internet port. Deco 3 x50 outdoor (orange) is in my parent’s garage which is located between the two houses. Deco 4 x50 (green is in my parent’s bungalow).
In my house I have a work computer, Sonos and NVR for home cameras that are directly connected to the modem via internet port.
Will this setup work at all? Thanks again!
