Peter Parker and Jean Grey share certain commonalities; both possess extraordinary abilities and powers, yet they lead lives in which finding happiness is a daunting challenge. Following the death of his mentor, Tony Stark, Peter’s secret identity was exposed to the entire world. Branded as the murderer of Mysterio, he has been forced to live as an outcast, reviled by many as a "monster." Similarly, Jean Grey was abandoned by her own mother the moment her mutant powers manifested. In *Spider-Man: No Way Home*, Peter Parker is forgotten by those he holds most dear—Aunt May, his ex-girlfriend MJ, and his best friend Ned—leaving him completely alone. Jean Grey’s experience mirrors this; she loses her sister to the Department of Damage Control, never to see her again. Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), by setting aside a potential meeting between Scott Summers and Logan (Wolverine), the narrative effectively bestows this theme of "solitude" upon Peter Parker. In this sense, Peter assumes the role that would traditionally belong to Wolverine—serving as the one who truly understands Jean Grey on an emotional level. I believe there is a subtle, underlying connection—a complex, nuanced sentiment—between the two.

He’s going to (or definitely will) deploy the smug face amongst his fellow X-Men when Peter and Jean are revealed to be Spider-Man and Marvel Girl.

In this iteration—exclusive to the MCU—a profound bond and connection have developed between Spider-Man and Jean Grey. While the two characters had virtually no interaction in the original comic books, the fact that Jean made her debut within the Spider-Man series in the MCU is both fresh and surprising. The MCU has opted to set aside the traditional relationship between Wolverine and Jean, choosing instead to pair Jean Elaine Grey with Peter Benjamin Parker (Spider-Man). According to Destin, Jean wasn’t included simply because she is an X-Man; rather, she was introduced to serve as a mirror to Peter Parker— highlighting the commonalities in their respective circumstances. Do you think their relationship will continue to deepen moving forward? Please keep the discussion focused strictly on the MCU, setting aside the Marvel comics source material.
I will put my trust in Marvel and Sony, and I believe that Kevin Feige, Destin, and Tom will make wise decisions.

Emma, Scott and Ororo must do the same thing with the others. I'll start the reactions down below, and honestly this should go on the discussion category as well because this is actually happening here :p

What if Jean Grey were to use her powers to look into Peter’s past as a hero? If she were to witness everything—from the events of *Spider-Man: Homecoming* through *Avengers: Infinity War*, *Avengers: Endgame*, *Far From Home*,
and *No Way Home*—she would likely be both deeply impressed and profoundly shocked. She would see someone who,
in many ways, mirrors her own experiences, yet has lived with a spirit defined by immense hardship and self-sacrifice.
Upon learning that Peter even participated in the conflict against Thanos—and that he died and subsequently returned to life—
she might well feel compelled to embrace him. In fact,
these very qualities in Peter could succeed in grounding Jean; moving forward, Peter Parker might even play a key role in helping to keep Jean Grey emotionally centered.

DISCLAIMER BEFORE YOU DOWN VOTE OR SEND NEGATIVE COMMENTS: I am not slandering our Girl I'm just asking a question. As well I want to also add a bit of substance in our ship.
Me, I say yes and I don't buy that Jean didn't technically kill anyone (given by the writers). As the old man is probably dead despite what BTS scene of him rolling over has to say, and don't forget about the beginning with the police cars and even her letting 2 guards shoot each other. I know it's damage control fault but Jean is still responsible
Why did I ask this? Well it's a semi serious question as it could create a bit of tension when Peter and Jean are together. I think also bringing this up is good to compare how Peter would handle it vs Xavier and X-Men handling.
Peter would understand and all as well as primarily blame damage control but he'll not let Jean off the hook, because Jean herself actually chose to do some of these for her mission, like the police cars blown up by the tank, and one that's just a bit petty with the old man. But despite all of this Peter would still help her, in a form of tough love that'll be rewarding in the end, where he mentors her to be a to NYC and be her emotionally supportive boyfriend. As well as hopefully helping Jean take accountability for it and have her pay it back to the people she harmed.
Meanwhile Xavier would know about it, and don't care he'll be like eh it's damage control fault and it's humans not understanding us. Basically and probably insensitive just being a closed-minded jerk in a way.

Since *Avengers: Secret Wars* serves as the final chapter of the Multiverse Saga, I’m looking forward to seeing Peter Parker
(Tom Holland) reunite with Jean Grey and watching their relationship develop further.
But what excites me most is the prospect of Tobey Maguire’s
and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men crossing
paths with Tom Holland’s version once again—
I can’t wait to see the three Spider-Men together again! It’s possible that Tobey and Andrew might even end up on the same team as the MCU’s Peter. I’m also curious to see how Jean would react to encountering a different version of Peter Parker.
It would be quite amusing if Tobey and Andrew were to ask Tom,
"Is this your new girlfriend? You two make a great couple!"

Hello PB&J'ers!
I just got caught up (except they updated today >.<) on The Telepath in My Apartment by Henryxon and need to talk about it. I will cover my non-spoiler thoughts and then go into spoilers.
Overall thoughts thus far:
The plot diverges from the movie in the vault scene, and it is wonderful. Peter becomes a public enemy for saving Jean and not giving her to the DODC. That is in the summary; basically, no spoiler
I love Henryxon's writing. They write such beautiful fluff and soft moments between Jean & Peter. The domesticity of it is heartwarming. And then there is the plot. I will get into specifics below, but when the plot ramps up, it really cruises. I am not usually a fan of some of these plot elements, but Henryxon has found a way to really make me invested in a profound way.
Spoilers (do not read unless you know or are okay being spoiled):
HOLY FUCK! JEAN IS A FUCKING CLONE!
Mr. Sinister (Nathanial Essex) held the real Jean for a year, while the one we follow from BND has been a clone. Sara was never real. That was Jean's story when she was taken by the DODC and nearly killed by Metzger.
Things I love:
If you haven't read this amazing story, go read it!

I came here to enjoy SpiderPhoniex, not indirectly support JK Rowling. Plus, considering that the characters in Harry Potter are literally CHILDREN, her sexualization makes everything so much worse.
