Fanfic Soooo Minecraft + SpiderPhoenix = Peak fanfiction?

• Upvotes

This is simply a concept I thought up while at work because I've been in a Minecraft phase recently. Jean has been living in Peter's apartment for a few weeks after the Roosevelt Island Incident and she is BORED. Peter doesn't want her wandering New York City (for valid reasons she hates to admit) and Peter just returned to Spider-manning (is that a word, it's a word now.) So what does she do? She hops on Peter's computer and finds Minecraft on his desktop. Jean having been on the run for her life and a mother who despised video games (new Jean mom lore) has no idea what to expect but the moment she logs in for the first time, she's addicted.

This is most certainly gonna be a crackfic with meta humor, lots of references to Minecraft YouTubers and other media while also leaning into girlfailure Jean with Peter having to teach her how to properly play the game. Every title referencing an og Minecraft song as Jean goes on a journey to beat the Ender Dragon and tame 20 dogs.

I'm currently in early developments of the first chapter so don't expect this to come out for atleast like a week. I'm also working on a more serious fic and using this as kind of an outlet for my silliness.

Also, SpiderPhoenix MC server when?? /hj

If you have any ideas, suggestions or shenanigans you want Jean, Peter and whoever else they invite to the MC server, let me know :)

This is chapter 5, which I made with a lot of love for you all. I hope you read it. There's already interaction between Peter and Phoenix here; the next chapter will be with Peter and Jean, a light one, because I want to develop it slowly.

Discussion In this scene, "different" and "dangerous" aren't the same for Peter but they are for Jean

And a common criticism for Jean that I feel will also be brought up here is that she shouldn't assume the known superhero Spider-man is trying to catch her to turn her in as a test subject for DoDC experiments because the crimes she committed in the movie that makes her arrest justified should be in her mind as the reasons.

"Peter is obviously talking about you specifically being dangerous, Jean."

I don't think Jean herself will deny this. The thing is, though, Spider-man still works for the extremely dangerous organization hunting down innocents for simply being different. Jean hearing these words from someone like him only makes him look like a brainwashed individual, who thinks that people are rightfully killed because they're different, which is what makes them dangerous. Add in the fact that Jean thinks Peter is like her, giving the DoDC a representative for this horrible belief.

Likely going into headcanon territory, but the way it's implied how the sisters mom abandoned them for their powers, I'm not gonna be surprised if they grew up in an environment where people who're considered 'different' are treated below human, even if said people didn't do anything at all. They grew up believing that 'different' were automatically dangerous, and they knew it as an unfairly cruel lie. This lie, like what she grew up hearing for most of her life, is what Spider-man told her, reminding her of how people can be monsters.

So yeah, that's a neat detail.

Since *Avengers: Secret Wars* serves as the final chapter of the Multiverse Saga, I’m looking forward to seeing Peter Parker

(Tom Holland) reunite with Jean Grey and watching their relationship develop further.

But what excites me most is the prospect of Tobey Maguire’s

and Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Men crossing

paths with Tom Holland’s version once again—

I can’t wait to see the three Spider-Men together again! It’s possible that Tobey and Andrew might even end up on the same team as the MCU’s Peter. I’m also curious to see how Jean would react to encountering a different version of Peter Parker.

It would be quite amusing if Tobey and Andrew were to ask Tom,

"Is this your new girlfriend? You two make a great couple!"

In this iteration—exclusive to the MCU—a profound bond and connection have developed between Spider-Man and Jean Grey. While the two characters had virtually no interaction in the original comic books, the fact that Jean made her debut within the Spider-Man series in the MCU is both fresh and surprising. The MCU has opted to set aside the traditional relationship between Wolverine and Jean, choosing instead to pair Jean Elaine Grey with Peter Benjamin Parker (Spider-Man). According to Destin, Jean wasn’t included simply because she is an X-Man; rather, she was introduced to serve as a mirror to Peter Parker— highlighting the commonalities in their respective circumstances. Do you think their relationship will continue to deepen moving forward? Please keep the discussion focused strictly on the MCU, setting aside the Marvel comics source material.

I will put my trust in Marvel and Sony, and I believe that Kevin Feige, Destin, and Tom will make wise decisions.

Discussion I think there might be some subtle feelings between Peter Parker and Jean Grey.

Peter Parker and Jean Grey share certain commonalities; both possess extraordinary abilities and powers, yet they lead lives in which finding happiness is a daunting challenge. Following the death of his mentor, Tony Stark, Peter’s secret identity was exposed to the entire world. Branded as the murderer of Mysterio, he has been forced to live as an outcast, reviled by many as a "monster." Similarly, Jean Grey was abandoned by her own mother the moment her mutant powers manifested. In *Spider-Man: No Way Home*, Peter Parker is forgotten by those he holds most dear—Aunt May, his ex-girlfriend MJ, and his best friend Ned—leaving him completely alone. Jean Grey’s experience mirrors this; she loses her sister to the Department of Damage Control, never to see her again. Within the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU), by setting aside a potential meeting between Scott Summers and Logan (Wolverine), the narrative effectively bestows this theme of "solitude" upon Peter Parker. In this sense, Peter assumes the role that would traditionally belong to Wolverine—serving as the one who truly understands Jean Grey on an emotional level. I believe there is a subtle, underlying connection—a complex, nuanced sentiment—between the two.

Discussion What if Jean Grey were to perceive Peter Parker’s past activities using her powers?

Thumbnail

What if Jean Grey were to use her powers to look into Peter’s past as a hero? If she were to witness everything—from the events of *Spider-Man: Homecoming* through *Avengers: Infinity War*, *Avengers: Endgame*, *Far From Home*,

and *No Way Home*—she would likely be both deeply impressed and profoundly shocked. She would see someone who,

in many ways, mirrors her own experiences, yet has lived with a spirit defined by immense hardship and self-sacrifice.

Upon learning that Peter even participated in the conflict against Thanos—and that he died and subsequently returned to life—

she might well feel compelled to embrace him. In fact,

these very qualities in Peter could succeed in grounding Jean; moving forward, Peter Parker might even play a key role in helping to keep Jean Grey emotionally centered.

Fanfic Draft of an idea featuring King in Black Peter and Dark Phoenix Jean.

It’s in Spanish because that’s my native language, and I was planning to publish it on Wattpad(Or Ao3).

Also, Google Translate couldn’t handle the whole text, so you might want to use your browser’s built in translator to read it. Just for context: the "Dark Phoenix" and the "King in Black" (Peter and Jean) come from different universes; both lost their own versions of Peter and Jean, which sent them spiraling into darkness. The first few chapters explore their respective perspectives and how they each lost their Jean and Peter. This is Peter’s part Chapter 1 and I’d love to hear what you think.

Despues Tony.

...Su Tia May.

Solo dejando a Spider-man.

Derroto mafias enteras, supervillanos locos, atracos meticulosamente planificados.

Fanfic Planning on posting the full work on Ao3. What do you guys think? *2nd times the charm

By the time Peter Parker reached the precinct, he'd decided that the next person who asked him to deliver photographs before nine in the morning was getting charged extra.

Not that he expected anyone to pay it.

He adjusted his camera bag as he climbed the steps, an envelope tucked beneath one arm and the remains of a breakfast sandwich in his other hand. Twenty minutes earlier, he'd been hungry enough to overlook the price.

Now, with the bread cold and the egg threatening to spill from its wrapping, he was reconsidering the purchase.

He finished the last bite and tossed the wrapper into a trash can beside the entrance. A glance at his phone confirmed he was seven minutes early, a minor achievement considering he'd spent much of the previous evening chasing a stolen delivery truck through Midtown.

He hadn't gotten home until well after midnight, leaving him with barely a few hours of sleep before his alarm went off. The lingering ache in his shoulders suggested even those hadn't been enough.

The precinct was already busy when he stepped inside. Behind the front desk, a uniformed officer was explaining something to a woman who looked increasingly dissatisfied with the answer. A telephone rang somewhere farther inside before someone finally picked up. Voices mingled with footsteps and the clatter of office equipment, creating the familiar bustle Peter had come to associate with police stations, regardless of the hour.

He approached the desk and waited until the officer finished speaking.

"Morning." Peter adjusted the envelope beneath his arm, offering the officer a polite smile. "I'm looking for Detective DeWolff."

The officer glanced at him. "You have an appointment?"

"Sort of." Peter raised the envelope. "She asked me to bring these. Photographs, for an investigation."

"Name?"

"Peter Parker."

The officer turned to his monitor and began typing while Peter shifted his weight, resisting the urge to check his phone again. He had another photography assignment later that morning, though calling it an assignment was generous.

The Bugle wanted pictures of a construction site where Spider-Man had reportedly been spotted the night before, apparently hoping to determine whether the masked vigilante was responsible for the damage.

Peter had been there. Unfortunately, he'd been too busy keeping a piece of scaffolding from crushing three pedestrians to photograph himself. He'd managed a few shots afterward, but nothing particularly incriminating, which meant the Bugle would probably be disappointed.

The officer looked up. "Have a seat. Someone will let her know you're here."

"Thanks."

Peter headed toward the waiting area, where plastic chairs lined the wall beneath a television playing the morning news. He took a seat near the end, set his camera bag by his feet, and rested the envelope across his knees.

DeWolff had requested additional photographs from an incident he'd covered several days earlier, particularly shots of the surrounding streets and vehicles in the background. Preparing them had taken most of his previous afternoon. Peter hadn't asked what she was investigating.

He'd learned that detectives preferred getting what they requested without too many questions, especially when an ongoing case was involved.

He'd also learned that DeWolff was considerably more pleasant when he arrived on time.

His phone vibrated with a message from the Bugle, reminding him that the construction-site photographs were due before noon. Peter read it, marveling at the optimism of expecting a freelance photographer to capture something that had already happened without having been there to photograph it.

Two officers emerged from the opposite corridor, deep in conversation. Peter barely noticed them, one carrying a coffee and the other a folder tucked beneath his arm.

"Hospital called again," the first officer said. "They're asking whether somebody's coming down to take another statement."

"From the guy?"

"Yeah."

"Thought he was still being treated."

"He is. Apparently he's awake enough to complain."

The second officer gave a tired sigh. "Of course he is."

Peter glanced toward the television, where a weather presenter was discussing the possibility of rain later in the week. He was considering whether he had time to stop somewhere for coffee before his next assignment when the conversation continued.

"Anyway," the first officer said, "what about the girl?"

"Which one?"

"Grey. Jean Grey."

Peter's attention returned to them.

For a moment, Peter wondered if he'd misheard. The name wasn't unusual, and New York had plenty of people who shared one. Besides, the person he knew was supposed to have left the city.

Still, he found himself listening.

"She's still downstairs," the second officer replied. "They finished processing her, but there are a few things they need to sort out before she's released."

What do you guys think?

Discussion Question on Brand New Day. Does Jean really have a body count? And do you buy the writers say she didn't technically kill anyone?

Post image
58 Upvotes

DISCLAIMER BEFORE YOU DOWN VOTE OR SEND NEGATIVE COMMENTS: I am not slandering our Girl I'm just asking a question. As well I want to also add a bit of substance in our ship.

Me, I say yes and I don't buy that Jean didn't technically kill anyone (given by the writers). As the old man is probably dead despite what BTS scene of him rolling over has to say, and don't forget about the beginning with the police cars and even her letting 2 guards shoot each other. I know it's damage control fault but Jean is still responsible

Why did I ask this? Well it's a semi serious question as it could create a bit of tension when Peter and Jean are together. I think also bringing this up is good to compare how Peter would handle it vs Xavier and X-Men handling.

Peter would understand and all as well as primarily blame damage control but he'll not let Jean off the hook, because Jean herself actually chose to do some of these for her mission, like the police cars blown up by the tank, and one that's just a bit petty with the old man. But despite all of this Peter would still help her, in a form of tough love that'll be rewarding in the end, where he mentors her to be a to NYC and be her emotionally supportive boyfriend. As well as hopefully helping Jean take accountability for it and have her pay it back to the people she harmed.

Meanwhile Xavier would know about it, and don't care he'll be like eh it's damage control fault and it's humans not understanding us. Basically and probably insensitive just being a closed-minded jerk in a way.

I came here to enjoy SpiderPhoniex, not indirectly support JK Rowling. Plus, considering that the characters in Harry Potter are literally CHILDREN, her sexualization makes everything so much worse.
