This is my progress since April 2026 to now (Oct 2026, for those visiting this page in the future). I got pretty much all the exterior stuff done and the stuff I want to do is pretty much just the final 5% (Reliability upgrades, minor cosmetic defects, and other stuff that isn’t hindering the reliability or function of my S2000). Honestly I need to figure out how to defeat the 180kph electronic speed limiter as this is a Japanese market S2000…

What I have done cosmetically:

- Mugen Style Hardtop

- AP2 LED headlight upgrade

- BC Racing Coilovers

- Greddy Lip and cooling plate

- Ceramic Tint

- RPF1’s (powdercoated)

Anyone have recurring dreams (well, once in a while) of their car getting stripped to barebones? Last night I dreamt that I parked the S on the street overnight and I found it stripped to nothing the following morning.

I have these dreams like once a month!

So my AP1 Differential took a shit on me about a month ago and so I am going with a AP2 Diff with a 4,77FD. I did a lot of research because I thought it'd just be a easy job to replace the ap1/ap2 flange off of each other but it's a lot riskier to do that. So instead I bought both the driveshaft and a new output flange from an AP2 transmission... the question is it easy as taking it off and torquing it down or do I have to do something similar if I were to do a flange swap off of the diff? Couldn't find any more info on S2Ki besides billman saying just to swap it out and your done.
