So confused. I keep trying to comment on groups and I'm interested in or I really needed to make a post in a group for advice but I keep getting reported or whatever. So confused. 😔

I posted earlier asking the same question, and I got told my account was probably flagged for spam. Saying how my posts are similar and everything, which makes sense. However, I went and checked the appeal page because I know you can appeal bans and spam flags, and it says my account is unrestricted. What do I do now? Is there something I’m missing?

The account is associated with NRI documentation assistance service. We've mainly used it to share information and participate in discussions about OCI cards, Indian passports, and documentation-related questions.

Our intention has been to help users with relevant information and contribute to discussions rather than use the platform for direct advertising.

I'm unsure whether the account has been shadowbanned, flagged as spam, or restricted for another reason.

Could someone please help me understand:

1. Does the server error, combined with posts being removed by Reddit's filters, indicate a shadowban?
2. Is there a way to find out why the account was flagged?
3. What's the correct process to appeal and restore the account?

If any of our posting activity unintentionally violated Reddit's policies, we're happy to review our approach and follow the guidelines going forward.

Hi, I just had a notification that my post was removed by a "spam filter."

My post contained no external links, or keywords that would indicate that I was instructing people to visit an external site. So how can it be flagged as spam?!?!

I try posting to a community, and the post goes through and everything, but I refresh the subreddit, and it’s gone. It looks normal on my profile until I open it and it says it’s removed by Reddit’s filters? I have the minimum karma requirement and my account isn’t brand new, so what’s the deal?

Hi, I joined reddit a few hours ago and made a comment on a particular post. But when I checked back, I couldn't find it. Is it a bug?

An account messaged me saying they were a "Mod" for reddit and that I need to provide a video selfie. When I sent the Mod a video selfie, it asked me to do the same thing with my ID. Apparently I need to do it to complete my account registration but I can't find that rule written anywhere. Sorry if I'm being too cautious but just wanting to check before sending it? I couldn't find a reddit contact centre or anything to ask.
