While main series got Mega Man 11 and now getting Duel Override, you think we'll get a new Mega Man X game?
I really hope so, don't get me wrong Mega Man's main series is great but Mega man X is like a full course meal, amazing stages, in my eyes at times a more compelling story, great bosses and awesome music.
A Mega Man X 9 needs to happened or atleast a remaster of Mega man X, Mega Man X 2 and Mega Man X 3

Will Dual Override not have voice acting?
Not having it after we just had it in 11 would be pretty disappointing.

Discussion Just replayed through the 11 classic Megaman games so they're all fresh on my mind. Here's how I'd personally rank them. What's your ranking?
Megaman 9 (To my personal taste, this is the perfect Megaman game. Yeah it strips things back to a simple jump, run, shoot, moveset but with that it creates such a tight, no nonsense, experience and pushes what's possible of a Megaman game in it's purest form. Every stage introduces a fresh, fun, and unique challenge that scales appropriately and is very satisfying to overcome, the soundtrack rivals the best of 2 and 3, there's no bs padding between the robot masters and Wily Stages, the boss weapons are my favorite in the series; I just really can't think of a single thing it does wrong.)
Megaman 11 (This game comes so close to getting it perfect. The robot master bosses are way improved, they're full of personality, the stages are lengthier but in my opinion don't over stay their welcome, the boss weapons are pretty much all bangers, and the double gear system is a great iteration on the usual formula. This one just might be my favorite if the soundtrack wasn't so weak and the Wily Stages weren't so underwhelming.)
Megaman 2 (This game is Iconic for a good reason. Every stage lives in my head rent free and I'll fully admit nostalgia plays a role here. Every song goes so hard except for Wily Stage 2 but that's still a pretty great batting average. It's a damn near perfect game if it weren't for the so obviously garbage heat man block hallway and Wily Stage 4 crash bomb boss trap. Megaman 2, is my favorite of the og 6 to this day.)
Megaman 3 (This game absolutely slaps. Best soundtrack of the original 6, some of the best robot master concepts in the series, introduced rush, and tightened up the gameplay. It would easily be top 3 material if it weren't so glitchy, if the doc robot stages weren't so jarring and unpleasant, and if the Wily Stages weren't so short and easy in comparison. Even with all that working against it, MM3 is a banger.)
Megaman 5 (I've always had a soft spot for this one. Yes, it's a bit too easy and yes the boss weapons aren't very good but neither of those flaws come close to spoiling the overall experience for me. I love almost every stage and I think it really has a criminally underappreciated soundtrack.)
Megaman 4 (I know I'm in the minority here. Don't get me wrong, I love this game and would understand anyone having it as their favorite. It doesn't really do anything wrong but at the same time it's stages don't stand out to me personally as much as the 5 above it. I'm also a big soundtrack guy and, subjectively, this one is just ok to me.)
Megaman 7 (Super underrated. The larger sprite takes some getting used to but it's far from bad. Great soundtrack, interesting stage theming, solid level of challenge.)
MegaMan 10 (Makes par. I love Sheep man, Pump man, and Solar man; the rest I could take or leave.)
Megaman 1 (Solid, Iconic, but a little janky and was definitely tightened up and improved on by almost everything that followed it.)
Megaman 6 (No hate to this game but it never really grabbed me like the other NES games. Flame man and Mr. X Stage 1 are the only songs that stuck with me. All the levels kinda felt like going through the motions to me and the multiple boss exits that are impossible to get if you happen to not have the rush adaptor you need is a bit annoying imo.)
Megaman 8 (Not a bad game but definitely the most going against it. Way too gimmicky and a lot of the levels end up feeling like chores.)

Unofficial YouTube Channel How Megaman 1 Almost Tanked The Franchise Spoiler
A Spinoff of my "Undisputed" series where i go into the details on how the first game lacked polish and the poor sales almost prevented us from getting the sequel and therefore the rest of the franchise. It directly references episode 4 (Megaman 2) so i reccommend watching that first for context. This video has a mostly joking tone just for fun so dont take it too seriously. Thanks for your time!
Premieres at 5PM Eastern. Hope to see you there!
As always please watch at least some of the video before commenting so we all have the context we need to have a productive conversation. Thanks again!

Discussion Somebody please teach me how to defeat Sigma (end game) as Zero in Mega Man X5.
Doing it as X after having already obtained the Ultimate Armor without cheating is a breeze. But fighting as Zero even after obtaining the Black Armor is hell.

Shitpost Funny number was actually the answer?
Like seriously is the game just messing with me? For context im on a section of megaman 1 were it gives you hints to figure out what numbers to open doors. On this one megaman just said guess. I just typed in the funny number lol. Surely the devs didn't do that on purpose lmao 😂

Will there be a short/movie/game where wily succeeds in taking over the world in the beginning but megaman saves the world in the end?
I really want to see what Dr. Wily’s world would be like.

Discussion MM OST Community Tier List (Day 17)
Well, while I predicted that World II was going to end on D Tier, I didn't expected that GG MM will end THAT low. Yeah, GG MM OST is that bad enough that we are considering an E Tier. Yeah, that kinda helps showing that MM5 OST did good use of the NES capacities. That, or that the GG suck in the sound department. Choose your poison.
Now, we are going to tackle The Power Battle! As you decided that compositions differences didn't did enough to separate the two variants of this arcade release, we are going to rank both on the same placement. And I bet that MM&B will have a similar treatment. So, here we go!

Do you think some reploids could be employed as models in a fashion show?

Discussion I love the advancement of tech in the MM franchise.
As the title says, I love the advancement of tech in the MM franchise. By that I mean: Making tech less cumbersome, yet still possesing or improving all functionalities of the previous tech.
Examples:
Reploids from Mega Man X to Mega Man Zero (no I don’t believe it’s an artstyle change, tho I’s be willing to go into a debate about that).
Reploids from the MMX franchise (pre-X8) have large parts that gives away that they are Reploids and that would honestly be pretty uncomfortable to move in, could slow them down (due to weight) and make them pretty big targets. ~Century later the new bodies are much sleeker and you could confuse a Reploid for a human if they were wearing clothes that hid the black sections of their bodies. They are as strong and more mobile than the old models.
PET to Brotherband tech from Star Force. Yeah it is sad to see the PETs in the garbage depot in SF1, but the Brotherbands seem way better than having to carry around a device and having to worry about it being lost or stolen (like it happens in other games). I’d compare this switch to Iphones and Apple Watches, if Apple Watches were as good as Iphones. Brotherband users still have to deal with viruses (I think it’s mentionned in the anime + wouldn’t have stores for chips if it wasn’t a problem) though, thankfully in SF3 they have wizards which function similarly to Netnavis, but they’re on the device that’s on your wrist, so not a lot of fear of losing it or someone stealing it.

Discussion WTF happened to me in the Hornet Man Level
I sadly dont have any recorded material of that incident but somethign really questionable happened to me during my latest Mega Man 9 run. I was pressing enter on the stage select screen on Hornet Man and then after the boss intro the usual "Ready" was shown but immidiately after that just as soon as Mega Mans "beaming" sprite entered from above I was just randomly killed at the top of the screen.
I don't know what could have caused this but it never happened to me in any Mega Man game before. I know there is still one final easter egg hidden and I immidiately thought I accidently put an Konami code in that caused that but thats probably unlikely and it was some kind of bug.

Discussion BOILING? hot take
I don't think nor believe there is such thing as a real and actually canon megaman timeline.
Because nothing makes sense and the connection between sagas is so incoherent and could be explained ONLY by every saga being the altrenate future or past or another one, and not the actual outcome of it. Otherwise, everything is merged up the same way i try to put a popsicle stick on dry play-doh and try to blend the two things together without being distinguishable from one another.
It personally makes me so mad how because of the perfectness everyone wants in the timeline, people just assume MMXCM isn't canon, when no one has stated which ending is actually canon. MMZ/ZX or MMXCM. The only ones saying such things, don't work for Capcom anymore and, Capcom's views of megaman have changed now. Their creative visions do not merge appropriately.
Also, everyone says X8 does fit in with the continuity the Zero saga shows, but that's not true at all, sure, you can theorize that it does have correlation with the whole new generation of reploids arc and how the Zero saga shows more advanced reploids. But Command mission shows exactly that, so what even is the point? If so, why are none of the important and relevant characters that aren't X or Zero shown or mentioned in the Zero saga? And no, the ambiguity of their destiny is not a justification, because that's not the way to merge two histories together.
It's just what everyone wants to believe for themselves and it gets to a point that people say with a lot of certainty things that aren't confirmed in our time and day. BECAUSE I'VE SEARCHED, and none of this info is found anywhere but in theories. So i really get mad when people yap about a canon timeline when it's just the timeline us as fans made to explain the lore behind these games. I'm not saying this timeline and enjoying it is wrong, but why try to convince everyone that is the canon one when the proof of said claim isn't clear enough or it's incorrect?
another personal complaint is that the connection between ZX and Legends won't ever make sense to me because Legends was made way before and some new elements don't fit in with the canon shown in it.
It personally reminds me of the dumb continuity Serious Sam has, with its 2 prequels that add new elements and completely destroy the vision of what was shown in past games...
Anyway uhh, let me know what you think

Tank Man is now oficially included in the Dual Override website
Also the trailer shown at the Paris Games Week is now complete and in high quality in the official Mega Man Instagram account alongside Tank Man's full render.
And going into his description, the "desire" theme is mentioned just like with Twinkle Girl and Jet Man, so it is most likely an important plot device for the story.
