We were talking at work about who the coolest video game ever character is, and when I showed my coworkers Zero I realized I never drew his first design before and wanted to take a crack at it!

Like seriously is the game just messing with me? For context im on a section of megaman 1 were it gives you hints to figure out what numbers to open doors. On this one megaman just said guess. I just typed in the funny number lol. Surely the devs didn't do that on purpose lmao 😂

Also the trailer shown at the Paris Games Week is now complete and in high quality in the official Mega Man Instagram account alongside Tank Man's full render.
And going into his description, the "desire" theme is mentioned just like with Twinkle Girl and Jet Man, so it is most likely an important plot device for the story.

Well, while I predicted that World II was going to end on D Tier, I didn't expected that GG MM will end THAT low. Yeah, GG MM OST is that bad enough that we are considering an E Tier. Yeah, that kinda helps showing that MM5 OST did good use of the NES capacities. That, or that the GG suck in the sound department. Choose your poison.
Now, we are going to tackle The Power Battle! As you decided that compositions differences didn't did enough to separate the two variants of this arcade release, we are going to rank both on the same placement. And I bet that MM&B will have a similar treatment. So, here we go!

Megaman 9 (To my personal taste, this is the perfect Megaman game. Yeah it strips things back to a simple jump, run, shoot, moveset but with that it creates such a tight, no nonsense, experience and pushes what's possible of a Megaman game in it's purest form. Every stage introduces a fresh, fun, and unique challenge that scales appropriately and is very satisfying to overcome, the soundtrack rivals the best of 2 and 3, there's no bs padding between the robot masters and Wily Stages, the boss weapons are my favorite in the series; I just really can't think of a single thing it does wrong.)
Megaman 11 (This game comes so close to getting it perfect. The robot master bosses are way improved, they're full of personality, the stages are lengthier but in my opinion don't over stay their welcome, the boss weapons are pretty much all bangers, and the double gear system is a great iteration on the usual formula. This one just might be my favorite if the soundtrack wasn't so weak and the Wily Stages weren't so underwhelming.)
Megaman 2 (This game is Iconic for a good reason. Every stage lives in my head rent free and I'll fully admit nostalgia plays a role here. Every song goes so hard except for Wily Stage 2 but that's still a pretty great batting average. It's a damn near perfect game if it weren't for the so obviously garbage heat man block hallway and Wily Stage 4 crash bomb boss trap. Megaman 2, is my favorite of the og 6 to this day.)
Megaman 3 (This game absolutely slaps. Best soundtrack of the original 6, some of the best robot master concepts in the series, introduced rush, and tightened up the gameplay. It would easily be top 3 material if it weren't so glitchy, if the doc robot stages weren't so jarring and unpleasant, and if the Wily Stages weren't so short and easy in comparison. Even with all that working against it, MM3 is a banger.)
Megaman 5 (I've always had a soft spot for this one. Yes, it's a bit too easy and yes the boss weapons aren't very good but neither of those flaws come close to spoiling the overall experience for me. I love almost every stage and I think it really has a criminally underappreciated soundtrack.)
Megaman 4 (I know I'm in the minority here. Don't get me wrong, I love this game and would understand anyone having it as their favorite. It doesn't really do anything wrong but at the same time it's stages don't stand out to me personally as much as the 5 above it. I'm also a big soundtrack guy and, subjectively, this one is just ok to me.)
Megaman 7 (Super underrated. The larger sprite takes some getting used to but it's far from bad. Great soundtrack, interesting stage theming, solid level of challenge.)
MegaMan 10 (Makes par. I love Sheep man, Pump man, and Solar man; the rest I could take or leave.)
Megaman 1 (Solid, Iconic, but a little janky and was definitely tightened up and improved on by almost everything that followed it.)
Megaman 6 (No hate to this game but it never really grabbed me like the other NES games. Flame man and Mr. X Stage 1 are the only songs that stuck with me. All the levels kinda felt like going through the motions to me and the multiple boss exits that are impossible to get if you happen to not have the rush adaptor you need is a bit annoying imo.)
Megaman 8 (Not a bad game but definitely the most going against it. Way too gimmicky and a lot of the levels end up feeling like chores.)
