hi everyone

im planning to buy a skoda slavia after seeing a lot of praise about it online, but I've heard a lot of complaints and criticism about skoda after sale services, maintenance, workshop availability and handling of customer service etc.

a relative had a skoda laura a few years back and is advising against skoda because of this reason.

how's your experience with skoda service been after owning the car? scheduled services, etc.?

(for context, im from delhi, east. if there are any delhi specific reviews as well, that would be great)

I gave my Yamaha Ray ZR 125 scooter to my mechanic for service and some repair work.

He’s made a bill of almost 8k and sent me, I’ve asked him not to start the service until I confirm.

Here’s the detailed breakdown:

General service 950
Engine oil and gearbox oil 560
Air filter 390
Oil filter 140
Real brake shoe 340
Water wash 150
Front fork oil seal and spring assembly kit 1950
Clutch lining assembly 1650
Clutch roller 560
Clutch greecing labour 300
Rear wheel bearing will bearing 540
Metre worm 410

All I needed done was :
1. Front wheel sound - maybe hanging cable/wobble hai ya kuch wo fix karna hai
2. Basic service
3. Throttle handle - gets stuck in 1st gear when bike is stationary
4. Tighten body panels
5. Theres a speedometer issue which is optional at this point

He says he’ll reduce labor give discount etc, however can anyone advise on is it better to give the scooty to Yamaha service centre instead ?

Hi folks,

I'm trying to identify the ticking/rattling noise from this 1.2 kappa engine in my 2019 I20 CVT 33000kms . AC is off. There also seems to be an oil spot on the plastic tray in the bottom. Do not know if both are related.

I have a 2008 Innova 2.5 G Diesel at 2.5 lakh + kms

I had an incident today.

After driving about 15kms (traffic was moderate but top speed was 65-70). The accelerator was not responding well.

Quickly pulled up to the service lane and the engine turned off on its own.

I turned on the engine, but the clutch wouldn't respond in 1st gear (i.e 1st gear has some acceleration, it was not working)

Waited for a few minutes turned on the engine again and drove back home safely (3 kms). I could feel the engine resisting the acceleration lightly.

Any idea what it could be
