“I think they're just probably figuring out what that story looks like right now.” - Chris Pratt.

Personally, I just want this one to be decent like the 2023 movie was. I'm not expecting a Godfather level story.

I always thought this was an amazing game. Crazy that it's been almost 10 years.

I think this would be a great cast for singular enemies, most of them bosses who could adapt to different spin offs like Mario Party or Mario Kart and be more recurring in the saga

What do you think, I would like King Goomboss and Tatanga to be more recurrent tol, I don't know if they r dead

I kept hearing about this new game in the New Super Mario Bros series called New Super Mario World. This was like 10 years ago and I remember people saying it was supposed to release in 2016. When I tried to look for it today I can't find anything.

Actually insane, that it’s nearly been a decade.

It only just occurred to me that these games share a central idea of using a gadget on your back to overcome obstacles. Mario’s FLUDD is more platforming based while Luigi’s Poltergust is more puzzle based, so I thought maybe having both meet in the middle could lead to something interesting.

So, I’m thinking a sort of sequel to both Super Mario Sunshine and Luigi’s Mansion, where they bring Luigi along to Isle Delfino this time. Only King Boo has completely trashed the place, darkened it again and unleashed an infernal goop that creates ghosts.

In a gameplay loop reminiscent of It Takes Two, players take control of either Mario with FLUDD or Luigi with the poltergust in a two-player co-op puzzle platformer. The poltergust will have the manoeuvrability of the FLUDD, giving Luigi the same movement options as Mario. However, the properties of manipulating water and air will be exclusive to their respective gadgets, resulting in puzzles and level design that require both working in tandem.
