Others is it possible to remove Muhd & Ahmad in legal name
does anyone have any experience with this? i live outside of malaysia for 20 years and i always have issues with the name because its too damn long.
Is it possible to shorten it just by removing Muhd / Ahmad?
Lets say my theoretical name is: Ahmad Isa bin Muhd Yunus
Can i go to JPN and say i wanna remove Ahmad and Muhd so my name would be shortened to Isa bin Yunus?
That would make my life so much easier where I live. would appreciate any input!

Environment Invasive belida in Malaysia
Chitala ornata, the clown knifefish or belida bintik/tompok.
An invasive species that came from the Mekong. It has spread to ponds, rivers and lakes throughout Malaysia due to releases by people.
Pet stores sell the babies of this species cheaply, but they grow to 100 cm which means most people cannot take care of them and end up releasing them.
They are predators that eat our native fish as well as outcompete native belida like the giant featherback (C. lopis). In fact clowns are more common than them now.
They are a food fish in Thailand where the meat is minced to make into traditional fish balls and fish cakes. These products are even exported into other Asian countries where they are popular.

Others Motorcycle hit my car and made a false police report
And police concluded case as Refer to Magistrate (RTM). Found out off record that the motor party made a false report.
He was a foreigner, and his owner immediately came and took him away from the scene. Later found out that it was reported as a Malay guy riding and injured. They also claimed bodily injury on my insurance. And the scene was reported wrongly, it was a two way road and i was turning right, he hit me from the back, right side because i have already half turned. In his report, he wrote as junction and i made a turn without looking.
As for insurance, obviously lost my NCD, but i’m not happy he made a false report and is claiming everything under my insurance
Unfortunately, no dashcam and there’s nothing i can do
Edit: I made a police report the first thing after my car was towed. The police who took my report even told me it’s clearly not my fault and i won’t be summoned. My report was very detailed of the damages too.

Education Should I do a PhD or no?
Currently a 3rd year computer engineering degree. Just completed a research assistant internship at the System-on-Chip lab in my university and managed to publish a paper. I genuinely love research and I love learning and figuring out something that does not exist. I’ve heard a lot of people saying a PhD is not worth it or even will make you even more unemployable in Malaysia. This scares me alot because I genuinely love doing research, but I also don’t want to be a slob with no or highly underpaid salary (by the time I finished my phd, my peers ROI will be way ahead of me). What should I do to make this work? How can I make a PhD as worth it as possible? Or is there an alternative pathway that doesn’t require a PhD? Any information will be greatly appreciated.

Culture Denying spouse money may constitute domestic violence, says Nancy
nst.com.myShe said this form of abuse warranted attention as it could occur in everyday situations, such as when a partner failed to provide money for basic family necessities or controlled personal spending, leaving the victim without financial autonomy.
"For example, a husband returns home expecting his wife to prepare a meal. If she is not working and has no money of her own, and he fails to provide funds for household necessities, how is she supposed to cook?
If he can feed you, he can starve you.
