The day started better anyway because my daughter actually went to school. And I've apparently had a good week so far, though, for I don't have a whole lot of work to get down today.

I work from home, though, so getting enough work in during such moments isn't always easy. So you can be the reason that keeps me behind my desk as I enjoy talking to you just that much.

Wouldn't that be great? I mean, then we could even maybe buck all trends and talk for more than a day. And just think, I don't have that much to do, so you can even get frequent responses and hopefully pass a day very well.

As a special needs person who grew up with severe bilateral hearing loss, fitting into society hasn't always been easy. But that whole journey made me a deeply attentive listener, and it inspired me to study to become a language teacher for kids with special needs so no child ever feels left out.
