I live in Sevierville and we have a few of these in the county 🤮. Are they in Knoxville as well? I also wonder if any other presidents over the years have had stores devoted completely to them. The cult is wild...

I have a simple goal: to bear witness to the local far-right Looney Tunes and document their hijinks. Figured it might be handy to share these around in case Michael and Sheri want to run for office again. (Bren is the Outreach Coordinator for ACT for America - Knoxville, and is a close ally to both!)

Colorful Places?

So I do a little art project for funsies. Each time I finish a book, I take a picture of it in a place that I feel matches the vibe or color palette of the book cover. It’s just something I do for myself that doesn’t cost any money. It’s a fun treat.

Right now I’m having an awful lot of trouble finding purple and yellow places for my next two books. Crazy that this is a hard find for me, but a hot pink building wasn’t (thank you, Pink Cactus)!

Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m also willing to travel a small bit, up to an hour. Thank you!

P.S. if you know of other particularly colorful spot I’m happy to keep those in mind too for the future!

I thought they were pretty alright as newcasters but what is this? Who is this for? How is it profitable?

Fountain City Creamery 7 Layer Salad

I really miss the 7 Layer Salad from Fountain City Creamery. Is there anyone in this group that worked there or know someone that did and happen to have the recipe? I remember the dressing being sweet, like some sort of poppy seed dressing, maybe.

Haven’t been to the wagbar in a while and noticed the it permanently closed two weeks ago? Is it going under new management or is it gone for good?

ISO: GPR LiDAR

Does anyone have access to a ground penetrating radar with deep LiDAR mapping? It’s for an experiment. I know of a mound which doesn’t match the topological terrain next to the old Baker Peter’s House. We should run it over the terrain and study the dataset. This is a serious question.

Fixie-girl stencil graf under 2nd Creek - Neyland bridge?

Does anyone have a picture of that stencil graffiti that used to exist on the piece of greenway that ran under the Neyland Drive before the floods wrecked it? I think circa 2008-2012. It was there for a while and then got covered with grey paint.

It was of a girl standing over a fixed gear bicycle.

It was my favorite stencil ever. I miss her.

Looking for a pro LGBT doctor in the Powell/Oak Ridge area! Preferably someone who respects reproductive autonomy and won’t judge patients for their reproductive choices. I just moved here from NC and need to get my birth control renewed.
