Crashing Out Over County Commission
I have a simple goal: to bear witness to the local far-right Looney Tunes and document their hijinks. Figured it might be handy to share these around in case Michael and Sheri want to run for office again. (Bren is the Outreach Coordinator for ACT for America - Knoxville, and is a close ally to both!)

I have to ask my fellow citizens of Knoxville, who exactly is this for?
I thought they were pretty alright as newcasters but what is this? Who is this for? How is it profitable?

Do y'all have these too?
I live in Sevierville and we have a few of these in the county 🤮. Are they in Knoxville as well? I also wonder if any other presidents over the years have had stores devoted completely to them. The cult is wild...

Colorful Places?
So I do a little art project for funsies. Each time I finish a book, I take a picture of it in a place that I feel matches the vibe or color palette of the book cover. It’s just something I do for myself that doesn’t cost any money. It’s a fun treat.
Right now I’m having an awful lot of trouble finding purple and yellow places for my next two books. Crazy that this is a hard find for me, but a hot pink building wasn’t (thank you, Pink Cactus)!
Does anyone have any suggestions? I’m also willing to travel a small bit, up to an hour. Thank you!
P.S. if you know of other particularly colorful spot I’m happy to keep those in mind too for the future!

Best Buns
Former midwestern looking to make a Chicago style Italian beef today. I have never found rolls in Knoxville that can withstand a dipped Italian beef. Anyone know who’s got some good rolls and that can scratch the itch today?

ISO: GPR LiDAR
Does anyone have access to a ground penetrating radar with deep LiDAR mapping? It’s for an experiment. I know of a mound which doesn’t match the topological terrain next to the old Baker Peter’s House. We should run it over the terrain and study the dataset. This is a serious question.

Fountain City Creamery 7 Layer Salad
I really miss the 7 Layer Salad from Fountain City Creamery. Is there anyone in this group that worked there or know someone that did and happen to have the recipe? I remember the dressing being sweet, like some sort of poppy seed dressing, maybe.

AMA Congressional Candidate Adam Heimerman

Good evening, everyone. I am Adam, the independent candidate on the ballot for Congress. I know people have questions, and since my campaign laptop and media were confiscated on August 2nd, my reach has been mostly in person and what I can produce from my phone.
I am not here to ask for your vote, I am here to encourage you to go out and vote. Some people may already know me, but Knox County is much more populated than mine, so I want everyone to have a chance to speak their mind. As long as the question or statement is not rude, bigoted, or slanderous, I am happy to respond to it. I do not tolerate intolerance, so be kind to each other.
Short bio: I grew up in Lenoir City. My first career was photography and video, then moved into river guiding in 2016. Graduated LCHS in 2007. My family (John Morton) signed the Declaration of Independence, and the Mortons moved to TN in the late 1790s. I believe in the Constitution, equal rights, civil liberties, and a government that helps the people, not corporations.
The democrats call me a republican, the republicans call me a liberal. I believe more of us are independent voters and that a 2 party system is the downfall of our nation.
I will be responding from my phone and often fat thumb my messages. I will try to answer everyone and correct my typos, but any misspellings and missed questions are not intentional.
Everyone is entitled to their opinions, so please do not harass or attack someone for expressing their views. We are all Americans. We all want a better Tennessee to call home.
