Hello all, it's been a while hasn't it, hope you've all been well,

Big shout out goes to a certain Tau artist in the community for letting me use their OC as the reference for the Gue'vesa body armour and of course to Forkonatable for doing all the detail on the destroyed suits

Shame the artist seemingly got SO into warhammer they stopped making artwork and started painting miniatures. Many such cases 🥲

The Chaos Warrior Slambo standing in the burning ruin of a Empire temple.

The camo pattern was based on their first edition design back in rogue trader era.

She lived on a more rural planet without as much direct management from the Imperium with a culture that revolved around their gladiatorial games. As a teenager she was sold into gladiatorial service by her family, training and becoming a renowned warrior by the time she reached adulthood.

When she was the age of 32, a rogue trader named Pietro von Buttiere VII came to her home world. He was a host of the planet and was in his very late age at this point. Having no heirs and being a rather fanciful rogue trader, he decided to do something very strange. He decided to hold a massive tournament in his name, with a highly sought after reward: his warrant of trade and command of his ship, the very things that make him a rogue trader.

Ilzhan fought in this tremendous tournament and eventually she came out the grand victor, winning her place among the Imperium as a rogue trader.

She is a very free spirited trader, often exploring planets simply for the thrill of it. She is known for her frequent use of barter through duel, wagering possessions, work, and even fealty through 1 on 1 combat.

Her retinue is formed of individuals who either lost to her in combat, witnessed her prowess and requested to join, sought her out for tutelage, or just admire her ideals and personality.

Her power fists are those intended for an astartes rather than a human and she treasures them, having won them in a contest against a rogue unaligned astartes she encountered at a bazaar. She often keeps her hands in them when she walks around, having members of her retinue or mechanical hands do the more tactile tasks for her.

(Idk if this all works in canon tbh, especially her power boots and power fists being connected to a power pack without a full set of armor, but I still love her. Someone in another thread told me to post her here)
