So,the one ABSOLUTE I've seen in the gunpla communities across all platforms is their hatred of nub marks,and because I'm genuinely curious,why do YOU think of nub marks? Do you HATE them,feel INDIFFERENT to them,or perhaps LIKE them?

For me i feel absolutely nothing towards them, almost,i see them,i look at them,and go "okay, that's there" and it doesn't detract any enjoyment from the kit,nor do i feel the need to remove them

It is most likely because i am used to transformers figures,so i naturally don't care about them,hell, I'd even go as far as to say i like them because nub marks are expected on toys and i view the kits as toys(toys I don't rough handle, don't worry) so i am not surprised

I just started the hobby, finished the snaa lamorak, and thought it would be a good idea to panel line (gundam pour type marker) the lance once it was fully built. i severely misjudged the pooling, and it made the pieces very brittle, which led to some of the pieces breaking off :( would appreciate any advice or help on how to fix this. and trust i've learned my lesson not to panel line on a fully built model lol

I have a hard time passing up a cheap kit on Aliexpress. This one was under $8. The plastic was poor quality and the part fitment wasn't great, but it went together. I gave him a coat of matte clear and toned his panels with some sepia acrylic ink through the airbrush, none of which is apparent when photographed in the dark with dramatic blue led lighting. I still had fun building him though.

Had some older paints lying around that I wanted to use up, and since I can't stand the colors of this kit, it seemed fitting.

For the maroon and dark red pieces, I sprayed a base coat of Tamiya Ts-6 Matt Black before airbrushing Vallejo 71.048 Engine Gray.

For the lighter pink pieces, I sprayed a base coat of Rust-Oleum 2X Ultra Cover Satin Granite and airbrushed on Vallejo 71.114 Medium Gray.

For the Gold pieces I sprayed Krylon Short Cuts Metallic Gold Leaf.

I didn't want to use the adhesive stickers that came with this kit so I found similar water slide decals lying around.

Finished this kit with panel lining along with some hand painted details on the Zaku Machine Gun and Heat Hawk. Finalized with Tamiya TS-80 Flat Clear topcoat. Off to the next build!

This kit comes from a Comet Class blind box by Sembo. I think it’s a character in a Chinese mobile game called Iron Saga.

Don’t know anything about the source material, but I like the kit well enough. Especially for the price point, which was like $12 USD.

I'm naming this the Nova Freedom after my husky she sadly passed away while I was building this custom her name was Nova

Had this in my backlog for quite some time and decided to bite the bullet. I ended up doing an entirely different color scheme using gahleri Kaleido paints almost exclusively with some enamel here and there. Still loads of masking, panel lining, and waterslide decals left to apply. Otherwise though still super happy with the progressn so thought I'd share.

This is my first photo dump of my current collection. I only discovered how important and effective panel lining and panting was about 7-8 models in so many have no extra flair, but from the folks I’ve talked to about what I’ve made so far, I’ve been lucky with my hobby lobby finds. My Crown Jewels are the deathscythe and the flying models above the shelf’s, but I’m always looking for tips and for new models to add. My Zaku shelf if a personal favorite so anything fitting the build is an almost guaranteed buy. Painting tips and detailing products are always appreciated. I have some 3D printed hangars for my favorite HGs, as well as stands, attachments, and even a collection of 3D printed Draken-E mini suits until I can find a sniper kit. Any extra included files are also welcome. Looking for tips and additions more than anything. I’ll add a photo of the backlog, and I’m in the middle of finishing the Ver.Ka Wing Gundam, so I’ll have a new prime spot to add to the table. Any additional mentions are appreciated

P-Bandai RG Gundam Epyon -APEX LEGENDS(TM) Alter Ver.-. Second of the three APEX LEGENDS collaboration RGs, themed on Alter, the close-range ambush character.

The good:

• The best base kit of the three. RG Epyon is from 2023, the newest of the APEX RG lineup, and the quality shows — great build feel, articulation and joint strength.
• Parts are larger than usual for an RG, so assembly is genuinely easy.
• Purple + black + teal. The reviewer notes outright that it looks like a Miku version — and that’s a big part of why this is the most popular kit of the three.
• Full Epyon gimmicks intact: Heat Rod, beam sword, both together, and Mobile Armor transformation.
• Alter-exclusive seal sheet included.

The bad:

• 100% color variant. Zero new molding. Weapons and articulation identical to the standard RG Epyon.
• The Alter seals come with no application guide — same problem as the Valkyrie version. Use them however you like.
• ¥5,000 for a repaint.

Overall: the pick of the APEX collab lineup, thanks to Miku-ish colors on top of a genuinely good modern RG. If the color scheme appeals, or you just want a high-quality recent RG, easy recommend.

Lost the cockpit with that had Ein's av so that part is now unpainted, but oh well

Recently finished my first ever Master Grade build, super hyped to have my 2nd favorite Gundam in such a high quality build. Stickers were hell though, lost a few and they just did not want to stick on.
Any budget tips to make stickers and water slides stick better?
