Hey all. Like some of you, I’ve had consistent issues with the app getting stuck when launching on iOS. I’ve tried everything I’ve seen suggested - reinstalling, restarting the phone, offloading the app. Those worked to get me in, but the issue always returned the next time I logged on. No guarantees this will work for you, but here’s what I did that seems to be working…

1. Disable/uninstall the iOS Games app. I suspect this is likely the culprit. It appears to automatically store some of your game login info and I think it’s conflicting somehow when you try to launch the app. I went into the iOS games app in settings and logged out, then deleted it just to be safe
2. Delete and reinstall the GOW app.
3. When it says it’s going to install additional game resources, say “skip”.

Now, I was a bad researcher and didn’t isolate my variables. So can’t say for certain if all of these steps are necessary. But, I’ve opened and closed the app numerous times now and have been able to successfully log back in every time. Hopefully this helps anyone else who is stuck on iOS. Let me know in the comments if this works for you!

I have joined a guild and am level 50 and making my way, but I'm especially unsure about the currencies. Should I be hoarding anything for later? Should I spend all my gems and glory on treasure chests? What about guild seals? Orbs? Major orbs? Traitstones? Seals? Should I be waiting for a better roster? Thanks in advance!

I am looking for a long-term game to play, with as little p2w elements as possible, which has great depth.

Gems of Wars scratches that itch, but not completely.

Have you tried anything similar in depth, not necessarily match 3?

Since I need those kingdom stat bonuses, how can I grind out the remaining 800 levels without it being pure torture?

I don't understand why the devs created such a very difficult mode with low rewards. It has limited turns, troop mana restrictions, a short opening window, too many doors to go through, trap rooms that are very hard to clear,...

so I saw the other thread and no help for my issue,
so my issue is on IOS the past week maybe little longer, it won't go past the first loading screen.
and the gem spiraling in the tight hand corner
w/no loading bar.

I have to uninstall and re-install for it to work maybe twice after that, then rinse, repeat.

has anyone else uninstalled, re-installed it and that got it?

Played a couple of kingdoms, and I am wondering:

1. Does it become more complex or is it the same thing throughout with different flavours?
   
2. Is it p2w? I cannot tell at this level.

The Elders are currently looking for 2 new members. We are an active, friendly, relaxed, middle-tier guild. We have many 1100, 1200, 1300, and 1400+ level members, but are also beginner-friendly. We often collaborate in the in game chat with discussion of strategies for weekly events (optional Discord too, but it’s not as active as our in-game chat). We complete all weekly tasks, get 40k seals each week, and usually complete all the epic tasks as well. If you’re new to the game and not in a guild already, you’ll be pleasantly surprised by the rewards you’ll get after joining a guild (keys, shards, gems, etc.).

Our requirements are 60k gold and 600 seals per week with no real trophy requirement (at least 1 trophy per week to show that you did something other than drop gold on tasks, pop some clan orbs to get your 600 seals, and checkout). Not a quantitative requirement like the gold/seals/trophies, but you’ll also need to pretty regularly participate in some weekly events. Not everyone enjoys every event, so this is not a hard and fast relentless requirement for every single weekly event. We just keep our finger on the pulse of membership casually to be sure things are fair for everyone and folks aren’t regularly abusing the heavy participants week by week and month by month by not contributing to any event efforts at all. You’ll get plenty of warnings, and weeks of grace if participation is not where expected because we all have lives and families and health issues, and in general life stuff just happens, sometimes for weeks at a time.

If you are a newer player, you may not need to contribute any gold at first. If you have not leveled your kingdoms to 10 yet, you can focus on that before contributing. If you play even a moderate amount, then 600 seals should be no problem. 60k gold is nothing for mid to higher level players. Most of us voluntarily contribute much, much more gold than that (1 million plus) to increase the rewards for all of us while still allowing a few new players who are leveling kingdoms the waiver on the gold requirement.

Also, if you’ve been in a hyper-competitive guild and need to scale back a bit for your mental and physical health, we just may be the right kind of guild for you. Moving to a middle-tier, relaxed guild may be exactly what you need to enjoy the game again rather than just grinding till you burnout.

What's even the point of farming Dragonite or diamonds anymore when my team just wins constantly? I can't even find opponents with higher team scores. I'm only level 200 and I've already beaten the Citadel war boss. If I want to level up my Hero, I have to grind against weak opponents, it's so boring.

My actual goal is just to face stronger player built teams. What should I do?

In order to open the app, I have to either reinstall or restart my phone. As someone who likes to play a little bit multiple times throughout the day, this is a HUGE pain. It’s been doing this for almost two weeks!! Hoping the devs can solve soon!
