My channel is all over the place and that’s how I like it . One video might be a comedy skit where I play multiple characters, the next could be a ridiculous Internet Weather report, a random adventure, or something completely absurd.

I don’t want a yes-man, and I definitely don’t want someone who just slaps memes over my footage every time I make a joke.

I want someone who actually understands comedy. Someone who knows when to let a joke breathe, when to add something unexpected, and when to leave a moment alone. I want an editor who can create humor through their editing, not just decorate jokes I’ve already made.
Challenge my ideas, tell me when something isn’t funny, and bring your own creativity. Sometimes I’ll even address my editor directly on camera, and I expect them to be able to fire back through the edit.

I don’t care if you’ve edited for 15 years or worked with creators who have millions of subscribers. Your actual work, creativity, and work ethic are what matter.

The details:
$30–$60 per completed video, depending on quality(5 minutes maximum).
Approximately 4–8 videos per month.

This could be a really good opportunity for any intermediate to advanced editors who have some free time and want to make some extra money on the side.

The base pay is $8 per video. I know that might not sound like a lot at first glance, but there is honestly no limit to how many you can do. If you knock out 5 a day that is an easy $40 a day, plus bonuses and the potential for long term work if you do well.

If you know your way around editing, these 20 to 30 second videos are pretty straightforward and barely take 30 to 40 minutes to make once you get the flow down.

Hey all new here, so apologies in advance if I am breaking a rule. I am designing a capcut alternative and was wondering if anyone is interested in trialing it and provide feedback.

Its in the early stages of development. We are just wanting to gauge ideas of other features to add to it. Currently it works similar to capcut, can create and transcribe audio and line up images and videos to the exact timeline so very little editing is needed.

Mainly I want to know if it’s easy to pick up without help, like if anything’s confusing or hard to find. But the big things I’d love tested are the auto captions (do they line up with the voice), the caption styles, and whether exports come out right on your PC. And if there’s a feature you’d use that’s missing, tell me that too.

My friend and I live in Switzerland and run a YouTube channel where we film vlogging/exploring videos, documentary videos, and outdoor "podcast" talks about everyday life around the country.

Lately we've been filming way more than we have time to edit. We already have several full videos shot and ready to go, we just can't keep up with all the editing ourselves next to our daily jobs and routines.

We're not a company and we aren't looking to hire a random freelancer. We want to find a reliable third friend and equal partner to jump into this project with us as part of the team. With us, everything is pretty much friendly and chill...we hang out a lot, talk on calls, and spend hours discussing YouTube videos ideas, thumbnails, and everything around building the channel.
