Discussion Verity didn’t make sense to me…
Warning: spoilers ahead…
So I finally watched movie Verity and I already read the book before watching the movie so it didn’t excite me that much.
One thing that didn’t make sense was, how did the police let them both go easily when the case was clearly a murder and these two were the only suspects specially when they got married later and she was expecting a baby as well it was obvious who killed Verity…
How can police be so convincing on a dumb story? A woman who was wheelchair bound ending up in the lake?
And I found both women’s acting below average, Dakota has the same face with every emotion and I think Anne has taken so much Botox that now she can’t express anything by her face as well. Josh didn’t have much to do in the movie I guess.. I kept waiting for it to get better until the movie ended..
4/10 for me.

Fan Content Avengers: Doomsday My 3.5-Hour Fan Theory: Doom's Collection, Legacy Universes, and a Dark Spider-Man Twist
Here is [Avengers: Doomsday] My 3.5-Hour Fan Theory: Doom's Collection, Legacy Universes, and a Dark Spider-Man Twistmy personal, in-depth fan theory for Avengers: Doomsday. I wanted to craft a storyline that gives Doctor Doom a truly terrifying introduction while utilizing the multiverse to drive genuine emotional stakes—especially for the Spider-Men—rather than just relying on cheap fan service.
In my vision, Doomsday needs a massive 3-hour and 30-minute runtime to let the characters breathe. Most importantly: Doctor Doom must secure an absolute victory.
ACT 1: The Man Who Collects Worlds (0:00–0:15)
The movie opens with Doctor Doom brutally defeating an alternate universe variant of Thanos. Doom claims Thanos's helmet and walks into his private sanctuary.
The camera pans across his collection: an Ultron head, Cyclops’s visor, a sample of the Venom symbiote, and Sentinel tech. These aren't just trophies—Doom has spent years studying the greatest powers of the multiverse to dismantle them. The message is clear: the Avengers have no idea what they are up against.
ACT 2: The Collision of Worlds (0:15–1:10)
• Earth-1127 (Raimi Universe): In this reality, Norman Osborn and Otto Octavius survived after the events of No Way Home. Together with Peter (Tobey Maguire), they’ve researched multiversal technology, building Tobey an advanced tech-suit.
• The Incursion: Earth-1127 begins colliding with the X-Men Universe (Earth-10005). The conflict escalates violently as both sides desperately try to save their own homes. Ultimately, Earth-1127 is completely destroyed. Tobey’s Spider-Man loses everything and escapes into the void of space alone.
• The Hunt for Eternity: Doom tracks down Thor and kidnaps Love, planning to harness her cosmic connection to Eternity. Thor fights fiercely but is effortlessly overpowered by Doom, setting up a deeply serious, revenge-driven arc for Thor.
• The Dark Bargain: Doom approaches Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man. Knowing Andrew is still consumed by grief over Gwen Stacy, Doom offers him a deal: help him win, and he will use the rewritten multiverse to bring Gwen back. Desperate, Andrew willingly allies with Doom. He is not mind-controlled; he makes a tragic, conscious choice to stand by Doom for the entire movie.
ACT 3: The Truth About Victor Von Doom (1:10–2:30)
The Avengers and Fantastic Four join forces to investigate the multiversal collapses. Sue Storm explains Victor’s history, detailing his genius and his obsession with absolute control. Doom genuinely believes the multiverse is a failing system destined for chaos, and that robbing existence of free will is the only way to save it.
Meanwhile, Andrew Garfield’s Spider-Man actively works as Doom's enforcer. He clashes with other heroes who try to stop the plan, driven entirely by the promise of seeing Gwen again.
ACT 4: Avengers vs. X-Men (2:30–2:50)
Manipulated by fragmented evidence, the Avengers suspect the X-Men were directly responsible for the destruction of Tobey’s universe. Misunderstandings lead to a massive clash between the two factions. While they eventually realize they've been played and move toward an alliance, the distraction gives Doom the perfect window to finalize his plan. Andrew remains loyal to Doom throughout the chaos.
ACT 5: Doomsday (2:50–3:30)
The final battle unites the Avengers, the Fantastic Four, and the X-Men against Doctor Doom. Reed Richards directly confronts Victor, but Doom has anticipated every strategy. Andrew fights ruthlessly on Doom's side to protect his bargain.
Despite a desperate final stand by Thor and the heroes, Doctor Doom wins. He successfully collapses the remaining realities and crafts Battleworld under his absolute rule. Andrew stands by his side, waiting for Doom to fulfill his promise.
Post-Credits Scene
The screen fades up from black. Tobey Maguire’s Spider-Man slowly wakes up in a completely unfamiliar, distorted environment. He looks around at the fractured landscape of Battleworld, takes a breath, and says:
"Okay… where am I now?"
AVENGERS: DOOMSDAY WILL RETURN IN AVENGERS: SECRET WARS.
I wanted to save the actual Spider-Man reunion and Andrew’s redemption for the middle of Secret Wars (when he finally meets Gwen and realizes Doom's true cosmic deception), leaving Doomsday as a heavy, tragic victory for Victor.
Would love to hear your thoughts on this structure!

Discussion CLAYFACE was awesome 🤩
It was a beautiful movie, full of emotions from feeling his pain to laughing to feeling the pain again…
How did u find it?
After a long time I loved a DC movie this much.
I’m sure there will be a second part to it..
I did wait till credits end to see any post credit scene but there was nothing.
I haven’t see this guy’s other movies but he nailed this character!
Oops I just found out the ending is something else and I saw it as something different. Just now read about it. It’s more sad now.

Discussion #topmovietropes Nightclub Brawl Scenes
In my honest opinion, you could shoehorn in an all out brawl in some random grungy nightclub with neon lights and EDM in any movie and I'd lap that shit up. These are the standout scenes in any movie they're in that I've watched (except maybe Nolan's)

Question Anyone seen the new documentary on the muskrat?
But seriously, has anyone seen the new Musk documentary? And if so where? I thought it was supposed to come out this month, and it looks like somehow it did, but none of the theaters are showing it anymore? And there's no streaming, no nothing. And nobody's talking about it!
What gives?

Question Have you ever rewatched a movie and realized you just weren't ready for it the first time?
I've had this happen to me more than once. I'll watch a movie, think it's just okay, and move on. Then, years later, I'll give it another chance and somehow it hits me completely differently.
It's weird how that works. The movie hasn't changed, but something in you has.
Maybe you understand a character better because you've been through something similar. Maybe a scene that once felt boring suddenly hits a little too close to home. Or maybe you finally understand what the movie was trying to tell you.
I love that about cinema. Sometimes you don't just rewatch a movie; you experience it as a different person.
Has a movie ever hit you completely differently on a rewatch? What was it, and what changed for you?

Review Troy (2004, director’s cut) is a 10/10 for me, and Achilles is the reason why
I honestly don’t understand how people can watch Troy and come away thinking it’s just another generic historical epic.
For me, Achilles is what makes this movie special. He’s powerful, arrogant, obsessed with glory, and yet there’s something deeply human about him. He knows his name will outlive him, but eventually, glory isn’t enough anymore. He wants something real. Someone to come home to.
And that’s what makes his character so compelling to me. He’s not simply a warrior who wants to be remembered. He’s a man trying to figure out what being remembered is actually worth.
Hector is incredible too. He’s fighting for his home and his family, not some grand idea of eternal glory. The contrast between the two is one of my favourite things about the movie.
And that duel? Still one of the most memorable scenes I’ve ever watched. The tension, the respect, the inevitability of it all. It’s not just two guys fighting. It’s two completely different ways of living colliding.
Is the movie perfect? No. I know it takes liberties with Greek mythology, and I’m not claiming it’s the most historically accurate or sophisticated film ever made.
But I don’t care. The atmosphere, the music, the characters, the scale of the war, the tragedy of it all… it just works for me.
Troy is a 10/10, and it’s not even close to being just nostalgia. It’s one of those movies that stays with you long after the credits roll.

Question Shooting in Hollywood films
Do you think American films have played a role in how armed conflicts play out—not just in the U.S., but all over the world?
In these movies, when someone opens fire, they either miss the main character entirely, or if they do land a hit, the wounds turn out to be minor. In reality, though, if a bullet strikes a leg and hits the bone, it can leave a person crippled for life starting from the moment they took the bullet.
