A relative of mine finally got a stone after being buried in an unmarked grave for 60 years
Her parents never gave her a stone, I don't know why. Born and died with a heart condition that would be treatable today.
Never got to meet her as I wasn't alive then.

This family goes all out with the Halloween decorations every year, complete with motion-activated spooky voices. My favorite grave to visit in October.

A Grave Damaged by the Luftwaffe During WW2 (Aberdeen Scotland)
There were quite a few, some more badly damaged than this but I thought this was so cool to see.

One of my all-time favorite cemetery finds... This man buried his severed foot
At the Old Lutheran Cemetery in Salisbury, NC.
• On November 25, 1893 (with some records also referencing March 25, 1893), James A. Reid—a Confederate veteran of the 57th North Carolina Infantry Regiment—had his foot crushed and severed by a freight train on Cemetery Street in Salisbury.
• The Burial: Instead of discarding the limb, James A. Reid held a proper burial service for the foot and placed a marker over it.
• The stone reads: "Foot of James A. Reid - Severed by a Freight Train on Nov. 25, 1893".
• James A. Reid survived the accident and lived for another 27 years, passing away at the age of 95. Ironically, when he died, the rest of his body was buried in a different location—the Trading Ford Church Cemetery in Salisbury
P.S. the image is from Google. The photo I have is lost on my dead Zune. That's right... I was the one person on earth who had a Zune 😂
