What is the conversion for a 36 on the ACT to the sat? Is it a 1570-1600?

I took my first ACT during Oct paper version and got a 36 first try but I wanna know the conversion. And is doing no science a bad thing?

General PRE ACT scores

Watch me absolutely skyrocket my math and science scores over the winter. They need to make the reading and English sections harder, it’s literally testing if you’re born in America.

Is my score good to help my low gpa for Columbia Ed?

So I have a very bad gpa it’s around a 3.63 uw and I had a terrible sophomore yr due to family issues and the absence of my father due to my grandfather being seriously ill and short term financial issues and stuff. But every other year I had As and A-s. And i recently got a 36 on the ACT. Will i pass the academic threshold for ivys? I want to major in Financial Economics.

I’ve taken the most rigorous math courses available at my school, the timing just kills me. I run out of time and have never finished the math test. Welcome to receive advice for math and give advice for any other section lol. Congrats to all on the October ACT, wish you better scores than me.

why tf was today's act hard asf

Dude based on my previous experiences, this is hardest ACT i've ever taken. I saw questions that ive NEVER seen before on the math portion. And don't even get me started on the science. It was more passages to read in that than in the Reading Section. Man am I glad I already have my 32.

Chances of a 28

Post image

OK, so I put my scores up there this was my first time taking the test. I am a junior. What would my chances be of being able to actually get it up to a 2? Like realistically. I just bought the prep median course and will do that in Hope to retake in April. This was paper and I will retake digital

I genuinely was shocked to see this

For reference, I took September and felt really confident and got a 26 (28m, 25r, 25e). But I barely studied in between last test and this test and I’m confused how my score went up so much, especially because I guessed on half of reading passage 4 and a lot of math questions. I feel like I don’t deserve this score.

Reading How do I improve on reading as a Junior?

I just took the October ACT and I’m really confused with how I have been scoring very low on reading. I usually score in the high 20s, but I’ve gotten the same score twice in a row. If you have any tips please let me know!

Please can someone help

Can someone please help me I'm begging. I've been preparing for the act all summer, I've done tons of practice tests and scored well in them. Learned from my mistakes. I even took an act course. I also took the act in September and got a 23. I'm a junior and I'm not sure what to do because the practice I've done is pretty different to the real test. On my practice tests I usually score 27-30 in reading and 30-34 in english, but on the real tests I've scored 18 and 19 in reading and 22 and 23 in english. I felt that the english was hard, but the reading wasn't too bad. I'm very unsure what to do can someone please help 🙏

This may come off as a dumb question but do yall have a rough estimate of how many I missed bc these sections intersect a little I think
