After seeing the god awful names people are posting like a badge of honour, it's clear that people are incapable of having a single original idea, have no imagination, and are in no position whatsoever to give feedback about anything.
Please, kindly ignore us and do your own thing, it will be fine.
Thank you sincerely.

When you die as a Night Elf and have to run back to your body, your ghost is a wisp. This is a really fun little detail that adds to the overall world building feel of Azeroth. I think Undead characters should have Human models for their ghosts after player death and while running back. It would make sense, as their souls aren't rotten corpses and could accurately reflect their appearance in life. Not like other people besides other ghosts can see it, so it shouldn't get too confusing, and again, adds a fun little detail to worldbuilding.

I'm glad so many people got the names they wanted but seeing everyone's names has made something abundantly clear and it's exactly why Blizzard should not listen to the average WoW player. These names are god awful but players think they are good. These same people are also posting on Reddit about their great ideas for the game and their demands to Blizzard. The average player is completely clueless, uncreative and absolutely cannot be trusted or listened to.

99% of your name reservations wouldn't be taken in 1,000,000 years...

Bringing this into a megathread where the mod team can actually control updates.
What's happened so far:
Its currently being actively worked on by the team.
Seems to be that there's some throttling happening on character creation so may take a few tries.
Getting reports that things are cleaned up. Go grab your names.
EDIT: US opens in about 10 minutes. EU was having issues.
EDIT 2: And its down again. Servers are filling up.
EDIT 3: US is also open now.
EDIT 4: Seems some people are getting through the loop and able to reserve in both regions. Still issues getting through and disconnect problems.
EDIT 5: Ruleset imbalance is preventing creation of Horde characters on the PvP ruleset.
EDIT 6: If you're trying to create a specific faction keep trying. As people make more of the other faction it will eventually let you.
EDIT 7: Seems to be easier to get in as people filter out of the queue. Subreddit is filling up with posts about names reserved.
Note that creating characters on Normal or RP servers will lock you out of creating characters on RP servers and vice versa.

Edit 1: Still not allowing access as of 19:55 CET. No updates or news as of now.
Edit 2: No access at 20:15 CET. No updates from Blizzard. Current theory is that it won't happen until NA servers launch at earliest. This is not an official statement from Blizzard but speculation from the community.
Edit 3: 20:19 - reply from Blizzard NA on Twitter. They're still working on a fix.
EDIT 4: ITS UP! GET IN
Edit 5: time is 21:14 CET. It's down again. It worked for 15 minutes, congratulations to everyone who got in. I will log off now to sleep. I hope it will get up again soon.
Let's all keep our wonderful whining in a single post, but more importantly - updates about the issue.
STATUS:
No one can log into the EU servers to reserve their name. This is NOT affecting NA or other regions as they are not available yet.
It's been an hour and 30 minutes and the issue is still persisting. No need to write an additional post about it.
What do we know so far?:
On Twitter, the American WoW CS account wrote that they were working on a fix (no time-frame) as fast as they could and it would likely require a hot fix.
That's all we know. Will update once more information is coming in.
In regards to the RP-PVP realms not showing as one of the 4 possible servers (that are still down):
If the RP-PvP ruleset isn't visible when you log in, select a different ruleset first, then click Rulesets in the top navigation bar. The RP-PvP ruleset should then appear.
I can't click the "Play" button:

We’ve updated the previous post in this thread with some additions that were intended to be listed.
Additional updates to Racial Abilities and Talents include:
Orc
Blood Fury’s cooldown reduced to 2 minutes (was 3 minutes).
Troll
Berserking duration increased to 15 seconds (was 10 seconds).
Undead
Touch of the Grave internal cooldown reduced to 15 seconds (was 25 seconds).
We’d also like to clarify that for Skyborne:
Charged persists through death, and is removed upon entering a raid.
Attuned persists through death, and is removed upon entering a raid.

Zierhut: Correct, correct. Now, that said, the Dark Portal exists, Northrend exists, Pandaria exists, and we could make minor forays into those areas. We might have a dungeon or a quest that takes you there for a mission or two and come back.
Those [are] things that we're not doing soon, but it is something we think about within the scope of what we might do eventually with Forever. But the key detail there is Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor are your home. You don't have capital cities, you don't have auction houses and innkeepers and things like that outside of Eastern Kingdoms and Kalimdor. We won't introduce new capital cities in this plan. Okay. You always come home.
Jones: But I think our attitude is [that] we are in a kind of a time bubble, right? We're locked in the place in between the end of Warcraft 3 and before Burning Crusade. And everything about Azeroth existed, even Outland exists, even Northrend exists, like Quel’Thelas exists. All these places are there. And I don't think if we ever went to Northrend, we wouldn't be visiting the version that you see in Wrath of the Lich King, but could we visit some extremely hostile level 60 version of it because Arthas is still in the stage where he's sending Kel’Thuzad to Eastern Kingdoms to assault Eastern Plaguelands? We could. There's so much that we can do with the timeline that we're in.
I am pretty satisfied with this answer.
Do you agree with the idea of going to Northrend or Outland as a dungeon, or small questing zone, with EK and Kalimdor being our main locations?

Tauren have the ability to harvest additional herbs bc lore reasons etc.
Why not allow dwarves the same ability but for mining?
Who uses find treasure?
