CNC/Laser Project Lounge Chair

Just wrapped this up late last week and wanted to show it off. Cherry base, and maple everywhere else. What do you guys think? Build another? 😉

I like the "HR Gieger x Trees" aesthetic, but is it comfortable to use? Even with the wide base it looks tippy...

I cant sit in Adirondack chairs because im heavy in the shoulders with long legs. This looks like I'd have a similar problem unless I abandoned all dignity and rolled out hands first lol.

Its amazingly solid, and very comfy. No feeling of tipping whatsoever. Im having a small, leather headrest pillow made for it as well.

Would look great in an osteopaths waiting room.

That’s a stunning chair. Shaping the main spine must have been a lot of work I’m guessing!

This looks like something that one guy would get his nuts stuck in...

No matter how many times you see it in real life it really does astound just how truly effective glue is when it comes to wood. That is awesome! Kudos

Shouldnt grains be vertical on legs and back in particular? Or did you prefer it for the looks?

I guess double thickness “spine” makes up for it. Just wondering about tipping risk if you sit on an edge?
